The legs on this wine are vivacious and a heavy cream richness with an insurmountable smoothness right upon opening big rich black cherry flavor so nice! 2007 — 10 years ago
Spicy, sweet, balanced, seductive pinot. Best 08 I have had next to Beaux Freres Beaux Freres. Exceptional. — 10 years ago

Ethereal genius from the old stalwart — 12 years ago
A blend of 77% Cab Sauv, 13% Merlot, 7% Syrah, 3% Petite Sirah & 1% Cab Franc, deep Ruby with aromas of rich ripe berry fruits, cedar and earthy herb spice. On the palate flavors of blackberry, black cherry and plum, with cacao, tobacco and oaky notes. Nice balance, soft chewy tannins, long finish ending with creamy vanilla spice and cedar character. Nice value! — 4 years ago
Rich cherry and cassis lovely finish and balance. — 6 years ago
Sooo yummy. Darker on the nose, but light and sweet on the palate - like cucumbers or powdered sugar or melon. — 6 years ago
Good balanced, good aftertaste of this wine blow you away. Purple color reminds young Saperavi or liquid consistency in the glass, or gouache concentrate.
Small tannins, low acidic, becoming elder would be jam.
Grapes from Old vines and maceration applied. rye croutons, smoked salami in the nose. — 7 years ago
Big, brawny, and more than a bit beefy. Dark purple with a nose of old cigars, bacon grease, and vanilla. Big ol' palate of smoked meat and white pepper. Tons of smoke, along with some dried herbs, and funky dirt. Not a lot of fruit here but you'll discover plums and black cherries eventually. The 15.5% puts out quite a bit of heat. Maybe too much heat. As tasty as this is, I'm not really getting Syrah so much. In the long run that doesn't matter because you should probably drink this. — 8 years ago
Tasty fruity vineyard with a punchy finish. — 9 years ago
Reasonably priced in Pennsylvania. Good drinkable wine if you like fuller bodied reds. Will be getting a couple more bottles. — 10 years ago
Wow - wet stones...nice balance of fruit with tannins. Best value ever! — 11 years ago
2017- very earthy. Good peppery spice. Subtle dark fruit. Good tannins — 5 years ago
Aroma of mango skin and passion fruit. Honeycomb and pine.
Medium to high acidity — it’s got a bite. Woke me up, even. Love the unctuous petrol-like afternote with a slight cheddar-ish kick. Botanicals on the undercurrent of pine and thyme. Thyme, this sings with thyme, unusually.
I like the dry quality of it, but I wish it had some texture or sweetness to balance the acidity. — 5 years ago
Great wine. Will definitely buy again — 6 years ago
This was a bit more fruit forward today and while nice not as complex. — 7 years ago
Let breathe for an hour and 20, absolutely delicious no sharp edge until about the 2 hour mark then down hill fairly quickly. Fantastic in the mean time though, had with steak, garlic ciabatta bread and sugar peas with chocolate Petit fours for dessert — 7 years ago
dark fruit, oaky, long finish, tight tannins — 9 years ago
light but strong, pronounced oakiness with only mild tannins, a rosemary note; pairs nicely with spicy foods / red meat, without overpowering. — 9 years ago
Good One because it's Chilean wine. — 10 years ago
Really dry white. Perfect on a hot summer night. — 11 years ago
