Took one and a half hour to open to perfection. And perfection it was! The initial tight tannin structure opened up to layers of flavor of vibrant red and dark fruit, pie cherry, fig, hints of cinnamon, cedar and an earthy finish. — 6 years ago

Sparkling wine. Pale yellow, very good clarity. Excellent carbonation, pinpoint bubbles. Yeasty nose. Yeasty and malic flavors, toasty graham cracker finish, good crisp acidity throughout. Fairly dry. An interesting alternative to other sparklers out there. Methode champenoise, Oregon grapes. The Melon grapes are largely neutral here, so it’s all about the aging on the yeast. Very easy drinking red with subtle complexity and nice acidity. Cherry and dark fruits with a hint of chocolate. Nothing special on the nose but can drink it like juice. Would absolutely buy again, especially given the price. — 8 years ago
