I enjoyed tasting and selected TOASTED COW at Oak Knoll vine yards where my host family took me. I learned this name of the wine is very famous among local people. Mostly I prefer dry to sweet, but this a little bit sweet, but light and good aroma taste so good.

Color perspective is a nice deep to dark purple. The clarity is nice. Interesting structure to the wine. Very balanced with aromas of barn yards and green peppers. Medium Full body with crisp medium tannins. Flavor intensity is intriguing with the red cherry paired with grass. Great finish! — 11 years ago

2010 Vintage has a few things to say... One of the most significant red blends from the Orcia Valley, generous and appealing at every sip. You can taste a balanced oakiness but still all the characters of the Sangiovese, Merlot and Cabernet. The soils here brought by the winds and this was bright from the mountains and this is a limestone was 250 million years ago. This soils come from the ocean and this is 5000 feet above sea level 189 million years old this used to be the bottom of the ocean. You walk 50 yards and you travel this vineyard takes 6 weeks to pick they get some with higher acid the 11 will age longer they started making these wines in 2006 but did not release until 2009. — 12 years ago
