Garnet robe. Medium nose of grapes, figs and cherries. Surprisingly sweet grape taste with well balanced tannins. Long, grape-tasting finish. Delicious! — 6 years ago

又是霞多丽!最近喝了好多。这一款和新西兰风格完全不同,入口就油油的很有料,所以后来把我放倒了。还会再喝。 — 8 years ago

From the northern banks of the Awatere Valley, Villa Maria crafts a fabulous Pinot Noir from the Taylors Pass Vineyard. An intensely herbaceous, medicinal expression of Marlborough Pinot - it almost reminds me of Fernet, with its pleasant amaro-like flavors - sage, quinine, mint, hibiscus, black sesame, smoke, and damp bark. Captivating and lengthy. — 6 years ago
Amazing combines Australian fruitiness with old world character — 7 years ago

A phenomenal Shiraz from Taylor's - Devine! — 7 years ago
Ripe fruit profile with new a fair whack of new oak. Thick and sludgy but there's so much flavor intensity. — 8 years ago
From the great 1994 vintage. Pristine corck.
Nose filled with purple flowers, on the palate coffee, liquorice. Quickly turns into a spicy bite. Missing roundness of e.g. Fonseca or Taylors 1994's. Long "fresh" finish. — 5 years ago
Perhaps a tiny step down from Taylors 80 acres Shiraz that’s a year older but you probably wouldn’t notice the very slight harshness unless comparing. — 6 years ago
2012 vintage was very smooth and fruity. — 7 years ago

Had the 2015 vintage in Jan 2019. Nice, easy drinking, well balanced Bordeaux blend from south Australia. Excellent wine, especially related to price. — 5 years ago
