Supple, jammy, silky mouthfeel, grapefruit, reminds me of the smokey charcoal of a Vacqueyras and the fruit of a luscious Pinot.
A recommended Rhône from the local shop owner on 23rd street.
A bouquet that brings the memory of clementines.

Spicy sweet. Duh! A great starter or finisher. — 10 years ago
Fantastic. Perfect age. Older world. Feels and tastes like a bottle many times more expensive. — 3 years ago
This was a head scratcher. Don’t think I’ve had a wine like this. It wanted to reveal white chocolate and marzipan, but instead it tasted like green tea/chamomile coated almonds. It had some buttered pear and honeyed melon notes on the finish...very unique. — 5 years ago
Toasty, caramel and viscous. Lovely! — 6 years ago
Great with dessert!! — 7 years ago
Heavy dose of lemon curd in a gooseberry reduction! Fresh-cut lime, quince, grapefruit and Meyer lemon. Green apple, Anjou pear, and dill aromas. White grapefruit, lemon, lemon verbena, tangerine, lime and green apple. Amazing Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc. Why would you drink any other? #JulesTaylor #marlborough #kiwisavblanc #sauvignonblancday #whitewinechick #whitewines #newzealandsauvignonblanc — 7 years ago
Stunning. Pale red, almost brown in colour but with an amazing freshness despite its age balanced with a pleasingly mild sweetness. — 8 years ago
Nice #wine, was first Grüner I've had from Marlborough. Nice herbaceousness, lively citrus and flowers. I'd like it with pizza... — 9 years ago

Great VP. Nearing its peak. Smooth as velvet full bodied but not cloying! — 4 years ago
medium golden yellow; muted, lemon zest, wet stone; saline, stone fruit; medium bodied, good acid backbone, 14.1% ABV; sourced from vineyard on bluff 5 miles from Pacific Ocean, whole cluster pressed and fermented in seasoned French oak, made by owner/winemaker Kurt Beitler, grandson of Charlie Wagner and nephew of Chuck Wagner co-founders of Caymus Vineyards; $45 — 5 years ago
Strong stuff! Only for sipping but good. However my pallet gets better flavor on some cheaper choices. — 6 years ago

Heard from Tone it's really good — 7 years ago
The second year of this great wine. '14 yielded twice the production of '13 and expanded from Stags Leap to Rutherford. This resulted in a RP rating of 94 pt. Congratulations John and Stacey. Dark berries with hints of cocoa, tobacco and cinnamon. Adding to my collection! — 7 years ago
Still young, I'll keep my other '85 Taylor's cellared for at least 5 more years... — 8 years ago
