Tentaka Shuzo, Tentaka Kuni, "Hawk in the Heavens." Tochigi Pefect, Junmai Sake. My wife loved this with Sushi. Pretty fragrant with subtle hints of berries. Only had a small sip as she didn't want to share. — 9 years ago
Mellow and smooth we take it. I feel the need for food with this beverage and fortunately some sauerkraut sandwiches and hand rolls did ok for simple finger foods...but I feel like some more meaty food is needed here to flesh out the better nuances available in this drink, and some rice, of course. Preparedness is key, be forewarned. Greatness abounds and I was not prepared to handle this beautiful woman the way she wanted. — 10 years ago
Fantastic. Best daiginjo I’ve had in a while. Super smooth. Slight pears honey melon. At oya. — 7 years ago
Clear to very pale yellow with medium-low viscosity. Very delicate but surprisingly round nose with notes of rice, cut flowers and plumb. Sweet with dense bubbles. Hints of rice and tobacco and melon and a soft, short finish. Beautiful summer drink. — 8 years ago
Candylike aromas on the nose of pear and red apple, bubblegum, cherry blossom. Sweet cherry blossom and honey on the palate with a big dose of anise, red and black licorice. Pure and crystalline but just a bit oversweet and medicinal to me. — 9 years ago
Clear and crisp, served in a wooden box, flavors of cucumber and melon. — 9 years ago
Fantastic, dry and absolutely hit the spot (drink hot). will get it again :) — 9 years ago

Very good Yamahai.
Steamed rice, nectarines and grass on the nose, with roasted chestnuts on the palate. Rich and luscious. — 9 years ago
