A delightfully balanced white burgundy. Another great recommendation from our friends at Rayr in Rockport, Maine. — 11 years ago
So, how are the big '09s Beaujolais five years in? If this is any indication, totally fine, if not graceful and pretty. Pure fruit core with very broad shoulders structurally. Nothing high-toned, and none of the brett or VA I often find in this producer. Was kind of bummed that I didn't order something younger and fresher until I remembered what and insane wine this is for the money and who cares. Great with veal and Morrels. 5-10 years ahead at least. — 12 years ago
Wine of the (Tuesday) Night. I didn't think it was going to be that good after all the hype, but is was double back flip wowsers. Oenologist turned vigneron making waves. — 11 years ago
Elegant, fragrant and fresh. 2000 has an energy which has always been attractive. Marked by a healthy acidity, this wine has still plenty of elegance, purity and a floral character. Fine tannins, great balance power and finesse with a tight, fresh and persistent finish. — 11 years ago
Great daily wine. Chambers St. — 12 years ago

French Chardonnay with more mineral than oak but still a tad of the latter. Much more minerals than a California version. — 11 years ago
