Light and is not overly sweet. I could see this being a great hot afternoon choice. Definitely would bring this one home to mom. Delicious. — 9 years ago
$11 - True to its name, it feels "velvety" on the tongue - rather nice. While drinking at home, it does seem to be a little too sweet for my taste. — 9 years ago

Very sweet and fruity. Nice tart aftertaste. — 10 years ago
There is no word to describe this wine. FANTASTIC, complete, wholesome wine. Had it with Caribou & Raspberry Point oysters and it was just a match made in heaven. A surprisingly full bodied white wine with a sweet finish to the palette. Very mineral which enhanced the oysters' flavours. It would be one of the rare white wines I WOULD have everyday and in reserve at home! Excellent! — 11 years ago

At Pondicheri with the Huston's. Not dry or sweet. Good one. — 9 years ago
Very sweet also like a moscato but much easier to drink. — 10 years ago
This might be the most structured Home released to date, but it's not closed. It is however very busy with a jumble of things going on right away - a streak of green stemminess, bright, zingy red fruit, a dash of sophisticated oak spice. Sometimes the Rhys wines on release show a lot of sweet primary fruit that needs some airing to mellow out, but that's not the case with this one, the fruit is already fairly restrained right out of the gate. it *still* moves to the background though, and it doesn't take much time before the wine is barely showing any fruitiness at all, just a blue/black complexion and an intense sensation of crushed stones, which combined with the powerful tannin make the texture of this thing very palpably grainy. It stays very drinkable though, never drying on the palate. Not as elegant as some vintages of Home have been, but the complexity is here. — 10 years ago
2013, I think this is a Pinot that might age well? Nice (maybe intense) cherry fruit, but not sweet, restrained with a nice mix of acid and tannin on the finish. I have 5 of these left and it will be interesting to follow — 10 years ago

Sweet & smooth, great w/appetizers! — 9 years ago
Heavy and sweet — 9 years ago
The usual succulent cherry & riped red fruits parfumes with pleasant note of wood & tobacco. "Bruciato" is like coming back home with its immediate, warm, embracing & silky sensations. An excellent correspondence in the mouth. Sweet spices, black pepper, tobacco, a touch of roses & well integrated silky tannins. A dark ruby red with a drop of garnet shades &wonderful tears on the glass. 2014 was not a good vintage so it misses something and it's still too young but this wine is always a certainty. — 10 years ago
