Barbed Wire Meritage Cabernet Sauvignon Blend

Bright red fruits of cherries, raspberry, a little plum with notes of cedar, some spicy black pepper, slight licorice & and faint hints of green pepper. Pleasantly surprised. Very good value.

Found this to be very good for the price point. Lots of fruit, very few tannins. Good with grilled food or just alone as a sipping wine.

This was an interesting mix. I thought I was buying a Cabernet Sauvignon, but it was by a pleasant mistake that I grabbed this Meritage instead. It was a lovely blend that I would be happy to buy again.

Soft and sweet body with boysenberry and blackberry on the palette.
