Fantastic pairing with Bistecca Florentine in Florence. Very tannic finish, good body. — 7 months ago
Very good super Tuscan from the Antinori family. Would buy again $23 at smyrna beverage warehouse. — 4 years ago
On the nose a stable, dark fruit, wet leaves, licorice. A big wine in other words, this Super Tuscan blend of 40% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Merlot, 15% Alicante, 10% Sangiovese and 5% Cabernet Franc. On the palate there is softness, round, dark fruit, some tobacco. A lively wine with a bite. Great surprise. — 5 years ago
Tasted at the winery. — 7 years ago
Sept 16, 2017. Dinner w/ Jack D and friend Mark. They brought wine. Sangiovese 60%, Cabernet Sauvignon 25%, Merlot 15%. Lovely Tuscan. Smooth and easy to drink. Luscious fruit w/ some spice. — 8 years ago
Light mineral good - would drink again but maybe not buy again.. — 10 years ago
Was super excited to try this wine upon receiving it.
There is a slight mineral ( iron ) taste .is this normal? Cork was brittle and broke slightly. — 11 years ago
Deep dark color , boysenberry silky tannins , this one will just get better — 12 years ago

Another easy to drink at pop & pour. It’s a blend of 30% Syrah, 20% Cab Franc, 16% Merlot, only 10% Sangiovese, 6% Petit Verdot & 2% Grenache. As IGT as IGT can get. At 59.95 a bit pricey. Better at $45.
Nice ripe; blackberries, dark and slightly sour cherries, black plum skin, moist clays, muddy sandstone, pleasant spice, light, fresh tobacco, used leather, touch of tomato leaf, moist, mushy volcanic minerals, dry twig, dusty stones, dark & red, withering flowers, round acidity, well balanced, soft tension, mid structured, round lush finish that lasts 90 seconds and falls on oak powder, spice and pleasant soils. — 6 months ago

Well balanced super tuscan. decanted for an hour. smooth on entry and taste. the finish had the typical tannins, not overbearing. One more bottle to come back to in a few years to see if the finish gets better. — 9 months ago
medium bodied, plum and cherry on the nose, slight tart finish. best Super Tuscan at this price point to-date! — 5 years ago
Certainly very nice, but it's probably too early as it did not live up to expectations of such a renowned Super Tuscan wine. — 9 years ago
Magnum 1990 Dom Perignon Champagne. Drank this vintage champagne to kick off Adam's dinner for K's birthday. This was amazing! Honey and nectarine on the nose with a super long, smooth finish. Awesome! — 10 years ago
Great flavor. Best wine since Italy trip. — 12 years ago
Cheap and cheerful Italian red from Trader Joes. A blend that's primarily Sangiovese, it's pretty subtle and doesn't leave that powerful red tang on the finish. Slightly dry, certainly not complex, but quaffable. — 13 years ago
InZinerator. Always a winner. — 6 months ago

Amazing wine! Such a smooth, perfectly balanced wine. Such an awesome value. Wish all wines were like this! — 9 years ago
This bottle was opened and stoppered for two days and the age really brought this wine into its own!! See my previous tasting notes. — 11 years ago

Sweet rhubarb like stewed fruit notes to begin with. 70% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Sangiovese. Some balsamic notes from the Sangiovese along with herbal and cherry notes. A very satisfying Italian Red. My last bottle of 3. — 5 months ago
