Orange galore with plenty of sugar cut with some acidity. Honeyed treat. — 7 years ago
Excellent run full of flavor. Smooth finish! — 8 years ago
The colour of golden saffron suspended in lightly heated cane-sugar water; a nose of candied blood-orange rind, apricot blossoms, dehydrated sweet white onions, German asparagus sautéed in unsalted butter, and sweaty dandelions; a gloriously ambivalent palette - it shuttles back and forth between a frantically ebullient acidity and a warming fur coat of alcohol and sweetness, with just a hint of sea salt at the very end. An amazing wine. Like drinking in large and perfectly sculpted waves crashing over craggy and desolate cliffs, whilst watching an enduring and fathomless sunset. — 9 years ago
Favorite rum, perfect in a dark and stormy (ice, rum, ginger beer and dash of lime if you like) — 9 years ago
1959 Demi-Sec: very lemon peel nose, very delicate with light mineral Flint notes. Lovely harmonised palate with beautiful grace of deft sugar, and clean juicy acidity. All citrus with a hint of honey, and only very light nut and savoury on the finish. Sublime and in perfect harmony. On re sniff there were very distinct fennel and dill notes after 30minutes in glass — 9 years ago
This was poured through a Zazzol aerator and just spilled out Cassis, black olive, cigar box and vanilla/brown sugar from the glass. Should she well for another 8-10 years. Delicious! — 9 years ago

Fresh noze abricot papaye dried fruits low sugar. Faboulous ! — 8 years ago
It's young, no doubt about that. Might wait 5 years to open the next one... A lovely pure, greenish hue, fine, crystal clear; toast all the way - still closed but alluring; rounded and balanced, with good acidity. The fruit and sugar are present but well hidden. This will go on and on - a Bruce Forsyth like virility will keep this up for decades... — 9 years ago
Havin a nice Tuesday... Nice balance between fruit and spice, lovely amount of sugar and acidity! — 9 years ago
I triply believe this is wine has the craziest taste. It is semi sweet with hints of smoke. Very fruit forward. The bouquet reminds me of smoked bacon. — 9 years ago
90 pointer. easy to drink. would be nice with a steak, but fairly good on its own as well if you like cabernet. has some spice to it. — 9 years ago
This wine has a great flavor, it's a little dry but that's exactly what I was looking for. ! — 10 years ago
Very unusual rum. Cherry casks made their job very well - smell of cherry is awesome! — 10 years ago
Smells super jammy and delicious. Medium to full body. Sweet and fruity then transitions to dry and slightly acidic. Dryness lingers. Great for a twist top. Would pay $15 per. — 6 years ago

17.5 2005. rich, off-dry but not high residual sugar, 14.5. Long. Perfect with artichoke (not easy to match, in my experience) — 8 years ago
Beautiful deep golden color. Orange peel, apricot and hints of almond. Perfect sugar/acid bakance. Fantastic. — 9 years ago
Red plum on nose. Rose petal too. Plum follows through onto palate along with strawberry and raspberry notes. Lush tannins. Nice offering from #pasorobles — 9 years ago
Tasted next to a 2007. Incredible experience. Still so great. Burned sugar. — 9 years ago
Half-bottle. The wine was medium amber in colour and offered orange peel, apple, honeycomb, caramel, smoke, spices, sherry and a mouldy note on the nose. On the palate the wine showed orange, peach, apple, cane sugar, caramel, smoke, spices, creamy honey, some coffee, a hint of chocolate, sherry, mild black tea and a mouldy note, paired with medium-plus acidity, a creamy honey mouthfeel and very good length. Judged by this half-bottle the wine has just passed its plateau and started its slow journey on the downward slope. A good, medium-bodied Sauternes with lots of botrytis character. Drink now. 89 — 10 years ago

Lovely, mineral, barely off-dry, a bit round. Nose with a touch of lime zest, apple skin, candy sugar. For my tastes it lacks a bit of acidic zing but I like it overall. — 6 years ago
