Never been crazy about Bombay sapphire but holy smokes this East is delish. The lemongrass, peppercorn and even green tea-like notes make this a sensual journey. Don't use this in a martini, enjoy it with a few cubes and a zest of lemon. — 11 years ago

Quite a pale coloured sparkling wine with a quite light bouquet of pear. The taste is a delightful but delicate ripe pear and lime. Quite soft and refreshing albeit the aftertaste is relatively short-lived. Lacks the complexity of a full blown champagne but I rank this 'grower' English sparkling wine as superior to Nyetimber's classic cuvée. Ultimately very quaffable and (currently) very good value.
