One of the better stouts. Coffee, vanilla, little bit of chocolate, peppercorn. — 8 years ago
One of my favourite gins on the market. Perfect for a G&T with Fever-tree and grapefruit as the garnish. — 8 years ago

Great gin, best enjoyed with soda water and a slice of pink grapefruit — 8 years ago
Quite a pale coloured sparkling wine with a quite light bouquet of pear. The taste is a delightful but delicate ripe pear and lime. Quite soft and refreshing albeit the aftertaste is relatively short-lived. Lacks the complexity of a full blown champagne but I rank this 'grower' English sparkling wine as superior to Nyetimber's classic cuvée. Ultimately very quaffable and (currently) very good value. Recommended. — 9 years ago
Delicious effort from the enthusiastic students at Plumpton (the English equivalent of UC Davis, San Michele or Roseworthy!) worth seeking out. — 10 years ago
High acidity, lots of red fruit flavours
Light to medium body
Paired well with salty Spanish tapas & tomato — 5 years ago
Rating is for the Rascal, brewed with ginger. Delicious, reminded me of a light pumpkin beer because of the spiced ginger. — 8 years ago
Lovey, really fresh, dry, apples, peach, hints of rose. — 9 years ago
Beautiful, just enough touch of creaminess, classy and lovely red sparkling — 9 years ago
Another fine beer from ELB. This time a sweet and pretty light porter. Little hint of vanilla. Very good stuff and at under 4% very drinkable. — 10 years ago

Copper in colour, the 2015 Blanc de Noirs from Rathfinny in Sussex is a magical expression of the style and another exceptional English sparkling wine.
The nose features rich aromas of bruised apple, strawberry, brioche and orange peel. The palate is broad, mouth-filling and adds peach and nectarine (Molly’s notes) to the call sheet.
A wine I’d love to pitch against a French equivalent. — 4 years ago
