Dry. Crisp. Apples. The best English wine of this trip. — 11 years ago
#Englishwine Court Gatden Classic Cuvée made with Chard, Pinot Meunier, Pinot Noir. Lively mousse. Notes of citrus peel, pear, apple plus almond, toasted brioche and wet stone. Long, racy finish. #wine #sommelier #sparkling #england — 12 years ago
One of my favourite gins on the market. Perfect for a G&T with Fever-tree and grapefruit as the garnish. — 9 years ago

Quite a pale coloured sparkling wine with a quite light bouquet of pear. The taste is a delightful but delicate ripe pear and lime. Quite soft and refreshing albeit the aftertaste is relatively short-lived. Lacks the complexity of a full blown champagne but I rank this 'grower' English sparkling wine as superior to Nyetimber's classic cuvée. Ultimately very quaffable and (currently) very good value. Recommended. — 10 years ago

Another fine beer from ELB. This time a sweet and pretty light porter. Little hint of vanilla. Very good stuff and at under 4% very drinkable. — 11 years ago
Probably one of the best IPAs from England that I've ever had, so far. Yes!! — 12 years ago
Great gin, best enjoyed with soda water and a slice of pink grapefruit — 9 years ago
Lovey, really fresh, dry, apples, peach, hints of rose. — 10 years ago
Beautiful, just enough touch of creaminess, classy and lovely red sparkling — 10 years ago
Delicious effort from the enthusiastic students at Plumpton (the English equivalent of UC Davis, San Michele or Roseworthy!) worth seeking out. — 11 years ago
Very dark, but smooth and bubbly and not as heavy as it appears. Tasty and easy to drink like a lager with notes of chocolate. — 12 years ago
Gusto fruttato, spillata a pompa. Da provare. — 12 years ago

Rating is for the Rascal, brewed with ginger. Delicious, reminded me of a light pumpkin beer because of the spiced ginger. — 9 years ago
