Real deal Holyfield...@Eric S thank you Sir for sharing this bottle with me. My first time but not the last. I get this big rush of smoked meats and dried strawberries on the nose with secondary hint of alcohol that blows off. Rich and lush on entry; no sign on tannins, integrated well. Mouth coating flavors yet light and bright. This stud has none of green herbaceous element. Hot charcoal, coulis and currant paste fill the palate. Ends with slight cigar box and dusty road. Wonderful. @Eric S thanks again! — 8 years ago
Yum. Big, dark, chewy, aromatic, sexy stud, leathery Zinfandel. Good stuff. — 9 years ago
A young stud in the making. Second hour was humming. — 10 years ago
Double decant through aerator into a decanter. First sip was all I needed to know this was another Andy Erickson masterpiece. This guy is a stud. Cant believe this is so young. Cant wait to taste more 12's. — 10 years ago
Say what you want about Michel Rolland, but this exudes sooooo much character and is becoming a secondary stud! Killer fruit profile with damp earthen elements at its core. Shares some of the same blue clay soils as it's neighbor (Chateau Petrus!). Thank you to Marcelo and Henri Parent for hosting me and my wife for our stay in Pomerol at the estate!!! — 7 years ago
Young @Joe Lucca being a stud. Primary but pure. — 7 years ago

This has so much friggin complexity for the modest $22 price point. For the Barolo fan and Barbaresco fan alike, this Nebbiolo over-delivers. The nose is so lovely and quite seductive - spiced dark chocolate, red licorice, cinnamon, brown sugar and clove. The palate is round but focused, high-toned cherry, floral notes, and more cinnamon baking spice. This is a stud. — 8 years ago
Slow ox'd for 3 hrs before serving. Wonderful notes of pencil shaving, tobacco, leather, silky black fruits and quite rich. Showing better than the 89 to me right now but plenty of life left in this stud. This is what top end Bordeaux from a wonderful vintage is all about. Absolutely singing right now. — 9 years ago
Whoever created this blend must be an absolute stud. He knows his stuff! Fantastic wine, great label/name! — 9 years ago
Always considered this to be my all time favorite wine, last tasted in 2000 and I am still in love a stud still standing — 10 years ago
Thibault Liger Belair is a stud!! He has a sweet first name and he knows how to make wine. Had the pleasure of sharing a few with @Todd Abrams. Awesome. — 7 years ago
Cloudy, substantial enjoyment. For me this has always been a with food SB. It’s not a pour in to your thermos and take to the beach wine. Props to gramps. Former 82nd airborne stud. Gone for 35 years but taught me that alcohol is not just about getting fucked up. — 7 years ago
Slight thickness but really balanced. A stud — 8 years ago
I just finished that wine and I really enjoyed it. It goes wells with red meat as it's served in Steak Brasil. — 9 years ago
Thank you Ehren, ya stud. — 9 years ago

WOTN!!! Truly in a great, great place right!
A phenomenal Bordeaux showing everything that I adore: pencil shavings, granite minerality , gorgeously integrated and a 90+ second finish. The only thing missing to make this a perfect 10 is my good friend @Ron R sitting next to me enjoying the bottle that he gifted to Christine & I!!
You are a stud my friend! In the spirit of friendship this was shared and enjoyed with a few of my great friends: @Drew feinberg and Bill Wachter. Come to Think of it, I think my friend Brandon may have had a glass of this as well? I’m sure they will all add their own tasting notes shortly. @brandon brandon
Im not sure what we traded in order for me to get this bottle but I am 100% certain that you received the short end of the stick!!!!!
I’ll make it up to you, 🙌👏👏👏🙌. — 7 years ago
