Well received by a consensus of tasters at the Conference. Named after the ship that charted and explored the Marlborough Coast in 1827. Grapes are sourced from multiple sites in Marlborough to make this Pinot Noir. — 9 years ago
Rye toast, cranberry laden gravy, and morel nose with cinnamon and peppercorns in prune smoke. There is dark chocolate in this miasma, too. Blood-thick, with enough residual oak to build your own "Cruz" ship. A virtual reliquary, this dark chunky beast swings like a bat across your front teeth, and doesn't forget the back! Big Spanish monster with hard clay, bonfire, plum reduction, and a brassy finish that hovers around in the shadows for a minute finishing with cassis and a little bakers chocolate for good measure. A steal at 13$! — 11 years ago
My wife went to the Boyd Vineyard last weekend on a private tour recommended by a colleague. She liked the 2010 Cab, Oak Knoll District so much, she had the vineyard ship a case home for my birthday. extremely smooth even without giving time to breathe. Not overpowered berry or other fruit, dry but without dust on the rim. You will make a good impression if you bring this to the next dinner party invite but volunteer to open on site as you may not find it again. Just returned from a business trip to my French parent company. I did not taste anything better over there. Concerned how the 2011 will fare given how that poor year is shaping up but there are exceptions, — 11 years ago
Full bodied. Need to know more about this native varietal. I think this is at its best right now. 16eur from a shop in Lisbon called Napoleao. They ship to Spain free if you buy a case. — 12 years ago
Visiting an old friend. Solid Malbec from Cahors. The stalwart of the @returntoterroir tasting. — 13 years ago
Drink up...this ship has sailed — 8 years ago
Good god! That is one of the largest Petite's I have ever had, it I spot on, large marge, large and in charge, tannic like titanic it will sink your ship! — 9 years ago
Amazing efforts from the crew in OR- perfect jammy notes, cherry of course, and medium all the way through, I need to figure out how to ship this legally to my Puritan state. — 9 years ago
[Tasted 8/9/16] IMHO this waaaaaaaaay overachieves @ COSTCO's $8.99. Initially purchased for immediate consumption [& one can certainly utilize it thus], I hope NOT to touch my remaining 2 bottles 'til at least 2018, as, IMHO, this currently stalwart offering is likely to get even better. [And to think COSTCO had no hype whatsoever on this.] :(

Tucking into this after a friend recommended I try it after my usual stalwart of gigondas. He was right.
He was also wrong to find something that suits my pallet that's also sold out everywhere. Cunt. — 10 years ago
Time to be a little foolish :) — 12 years ago
New treasure made by stalwart favorite Ehren Jordan. West of West fest in effect — 12 years ago
Call me crazy, but this smelled like carrots pulled from cold wet earth and the inside of an old wooden ship in the best possible way. 😍 Tasted like red fruits but also with some rhubarb. Mmmmmm. — 9 years ago
My favorite wine I had while in France in summer 2015. Trying to find a way to ship this to the U.S. — 9 years ago
I started this with a blue corn ship / salsa hors d'oeuvre, an unexpected, yet surprisingly delicioso pairing that made me exclaim "le ole!" This is a good bang for your buck right here. — 10 years ago
Fantastic! Found this at local wine ship. — 10 years ago

Because mutiny on the bounty's what we're all about. I'm gonna board your ship and turn it on out. #delectableapp — 11 years ago
Few better ways to ring in the weekend than with #champagne. Bereche's winning combo of nutty richness plus currents of bright acidity and stoney minerality = stalwart happy maker. — 11 years ago
Best takeback from wine country visit. Wish it could ship to Ohio — 11 years ago
For a non-vintage French sparkling wine this is an excellent value. It costs $10 a bottle in Lafayette Louisiana. I have no idea how they can produce this quality of wine, ship it to the United States, and sell it for its current price. — 11 years ago
