Can't get enough of your wine @James Sparks. It's hard trying to pace myself..the bien bien is next to go. — 10 years ago
Great cranberry tasting wine. Purchased in Oklahoma. — 12 years ago
Smells like the sidewalk in front of Sparks after Paul Castellano got capped, tastes like blueberry covered roast meat with herbs sprinkled with granite dust, ending in a long bloody finish. Who says St Chinian doesn't age? — 10 years ago
Amazing sparks — 10 years ago
Pale gold and tinge of green. Smells like an effort to start a fire with two wet stones. Like short bursts of sparks, the acidity and minerality start to fire more regularly as the wine opened. Unfortunately the bottle emptied too quickly to see the gun hidden under the stones. Needs at least another year or two. — 10 years ago
Deep eggplant color with slight brick showing on edge, quite a bit of sediment in the wine, smells of tobacco, cherry jam and fig, medium to full body, very soft tannin and round mouthfeel, it is in complete harmony now, medium finish with aftertaste of espresso and prune. It is not a bold wine for the vintage, it aims for a smooth expression which for some, may lack a bit of sparks. — 10 years ago
Nice and fruity but for me not totally correct, a bit slim and there is the impression off pepper and sparks — 11 years ago
