Golden and Opal apples, Bartlett pear, lemon zest, red grapefruit in the bouquet. Tart green apple, buttered toast, lemon pith, white peach, soft notes of zesty ginger gives a nice zippiness on the finish along side hints of almond oil on a medium length finish. Strong lemony yellow color with a rich, opulent yet refreshing mouthfeel with a pleasant linger. Great white wine — 5 years ago

Not at what I expected. Mellow with vanilla and stone fruit on the nose and tongue. Very bourbony in an odd kind of way. Finishes with a sort of vegetal bitterness, almost like fernet branca. I think that’s characteristic of single grains, though my experience is limited. More fascinating than delicious, but I loved drinking it all the same. — 8 years ago
