Cedar, malt milo, raspberry, yoyo biscuit and fresh Blackcurrant have been the aromas showing tonight. I do know this wine can show beautiful leather, stalky notes and earthy aromas but it simply did not last long enough. Precise fruit, tannin targets the front palate but acid plays a backing role. Tasted in 2011 and 2013. This is evolving into a beautiful wine. The oak is quite forward on the nose but the rich dark fruits shine through on the palate with pepper and anise on the finish. Drinking very well now but good for another 3 to 4 years. — 10 years ago
