Licorice, acid, nice tannins. A little pucker afterwards. Good wine with dinner. Very good, but maybe not worth the $40 price tag. 2016 — 6 years ago

Rich cocoa and cedar over raspberry, cola, and black cherry. Flavorful and smooth. — 3 months ago
It’s got that CA profile. Dusty earth and tooti frooti but also has some good spice. But yea, that CA profile. Elegant, sweet and balanced. Not big but small and pure. Nice. — 3 months ago
Lovely with a long decant — 4 months ago
Deep golden color, pear and nectarine on the nose. Medium acid, long finish, creamy and mineral. Taste of stone fruit, pear with a subtle note of honey. — 5 months ago
Complex flavors of chamomile, melon, white stone fruits with skin contact structure, dry and crisp — 9 months ago
Way too young. Tight red fruit but this wine has so much potential. Even though it’s a little one noted in its youth this wine has intensity, balance and loads of potential! — 4 years ago
That’s some nice drinkin’ stuff (circa 2017). Thanks to the local somm, Steve, at our Whole Foods for the recom... it was their last bottle and he sacrificed. — 6 years ago
Awesome raspberry and milky once it's aerated. Fav Pinot — 9 years ago
Nice red, black fruit and cola notes. Savory herbs and organic earth mid-palate and on the finish. High alcohol takes it out of balance a bit. Needs time. — 11 years ago

Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of an hour. The 2021 Pagani Ranch pours a deep ruby color with a near opaque core; medium+ viscosity with light staining of the tears. On the nose, the wine is developing with notes of ripe and tart black and red fruits: mixed bramble fruit, black cherry, black pepper, red flowers, tobacco, warm spices. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium+ tannin and medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is medium+. Yum. — 3 months ago
