Very solid smooth tasty cab — 6 years ago
Ripe fruit gives way to baking spices baking spices baking spices. Jammy but not overly so. This is a unique little number, very interesting and agreeable — 7 years ago
A solid $12 dinner cab — 7 years ago
Really solid Cab, a bit more tannic, which I enjoyed. — 8 years ago
Needed a solid hour to open, but a treat when it did. This is drinking beautifully now, lots of puckery bramble fruit, smooth leather, tobacco smoke, and green herbs with assertive but integrated tannins. Shared with my pops over pork and fennel seed sausages, roasted new turnips and garden greens. — 9 years ago
Distinctively French, rich tannins, solid construction, too small of a bottle.

All around solid cab,, very rich and juicy! And a total crowd pleaser, this is my go-to cab! — 5 years ago
Dark garnet red with a ruby hue. Aged characteristics on the nose with some tobacco leaves, anise, damp leaves and dark berries. Medium tannins (6/10) and full bodied. Quite earthy on the palate with some dried cherries, cigar box and some light leather. Long finish with solid acidity. Drink till 2023. — 5 years ago
Solid consistent through vintage: this is a textbook example of Sonoma County Zin. Great balance and weight & easy to drink, my only complaint is that it lacks concentration and is too fruit focused but I imagine that is by design to appeal to the widest audience. Seghesio has outstanding single vineyard offerings for those seeking more — 6 years ago
Solid cab, like all the previous vintages. — 7 years ago
Solid. Good fruit, concentration and balance. — 7 years ago
Dense and a bit chalky. Curious to see how it will open up...and it does open up...still dry and earthy but complex layers of fruit and spice. Nice. Not the greatest value at $25, but solid. — 8 years ago
This Kosta Browne was a solid Pinot. Very fruit driven for a Russian River. This was a 1/2 bottle, decanted a 1.25 hours. It had a wonder nose of black fruit, had a very faint scent of a dark salted Carmel, with a little 5-spice. The palate was more red fruit, with a hint of hint of anise/roasted fennel, it lingered with a shot finish. — 8 years ago
Solid. Earthy. Our go-to favorite and a great value. — 9 years ago
Classic vintage - a solid 2004 Bordeaux. Purity of fruit, fresh and complex. Elegant, I enjoyed the nose. Palate lacked the X- factor I was looking for. Secondary characters just showing, leather and tobacco. Tannins very subtle. 93 points — 9 years ago
Solid, delicious, the least ostentatious kind of wine. No frills, no worries. This stuff is great. — 10 years ago
Classic CA cab. Not very complex but great fruit, very well structured, Solid 89. — 5 years ago
Licorice and ripe red fruit, baking spice, solid roped tanins. More flesh than 2013 — 6 years ago
Dark ruby red, almost black at its center. The nose is bold and alluring with aromas of cherry, prune, vanilla, cinnamon, brand new cedar chest, and the occasional flick of black table pepper right to the back of the nostrils. Medium bodied with solid structure but still smooth and lush. Flavors of blackberries, plums, mint and pencil lead. It finishes with plums, mint, and some big tannin. — 7 years ago
First taste reminded me of Firenze in that the leather belts and purses were on the nose. Lots of floral arrangements now, solid round, very nice as always. Shout out to my 1 follower @Bill Bender ... it's my birthday and my goal is to be drinking at your level next year!

Solid notes. Great combination of jammy and spice. Very nice finish — 9 years ago
Bottle 2. Vietti is so solid. Very balanced expression of Nebbiolo, not too tight, light fruit and tar on the palate. Price point at Aldo Sohm is stupid good. — 9 years ago
