Very very delicious, solid red. — 7 years ago
Solid blend. Not worth the price. Crushing it on Valentine's Day with some Dominos. Bam! — 9 years ago
This Kosta Browne was a solid Pinot. Very fruit driven for a Russian River. This was a 1/2 bottle, decanted a 1.25 hours. It had a wonder nose of black fruit, had a very faint scent of a dark salted Carmel, with a little 5-spice. The palate was more red fruit, with a hint of hint of anise/roasted fennel, it lingered with a shot finish. — 10 years ago
Really solid Cab, a bit more tannic, which I enjoyed. — 10 years ago
Very nice - rich and dark but not overly heavy. Solid choice. Pairs nicely with beef! — 11 years ago

A solid Rioja. Well rounded. — 7 years ago
Wonderful blend. Good nose and smooth on the palate. Paired well with crab in black bean sauce. — 8 years ago
Ripe fruit gives way to baking spices baking spices baking spices. Jammy but not overly so. This is a unique little number, very interesting and agreeable — 8 years ago
Father in law casually opens this up in on a Sunday. What is he sick in the head?! Solid wine... still a baby. Give it time to mature and it'll rock your socks. So much is going on here: floral on the nose, and dark ripe berries on the palate. I can still taste it 15 mins later... — 9 years ago
A solid $12 dinner cab — 9 years ago
Leather and sous bois and one brambles. Lovely and balanced. Still solid. Buy. — 9 years ago
Pound for pound, one of the most solid zins out there. Blackberries, raspberries, spices galore. — 10 years ago
Very nice nose and palate. Lovely long finish. Good solid fruit. — 11 years ago
Solid, delicious, the least ostentatious kind of wine. No frills, no worries. This stuff is great. — 12 years ago
Strong dark cherry. I think solid body but wife thinks light. Some alcohol heat at the finish. Great value for price. — 7 years ago
Solid, juicy Langhe Nebbiolo from a classic Barolo producer. Nose of slightly dried red cherry, rose petal and lavender, fennel, orange peel, and a bit of volatile asphalt-y character. The nose echoes the palate pretty congruently in terms of flavor, with some eucalyptus freshness and a bit of extra mineral intensity. High acid, nimble, medium (-) body, and medium (+) tannic intensity. Tannins are surprisingly softly textured despite their intensity. I want this with a blue cheese and jalapeño-topped burger. — 9 years ago
Solid. Good fruit, concentration and balance. — 9 years ago
Dark ruby red, almost black at its center. The nose is bold and alluring with aromas of cherry, prune, vanilla, cinnamon, brand new cedar chest, and the occasional flick of black table pepper right to the back of the nostrils. Medium bodied with solid structure but still smooth and lush. Flavors of blackberries, plums, mint and pencil lead. It finishes with plums, mint, and some big tannin. — 9 years ago
Solid wine with great aromas and decent finish. — 10 years ago

Mixed feelings on this - one one hand, it’s solid, on the other, there’s just nothing exciting going on. Also, Caymus using clear bottles really pisses me off. Overall, meh for the money. — 6 years ago
