The 2011 has been my favorite Frank Family to date. The oak seems to be dialed way back and the green (cedar and peppercorn) elements seem to pop more with this vintage. Really good wine to end the night!

So smooth and well balanced. Ripe berries and luscious mouth feel. If only the taste would linger longer on the palette. Otherwise, fantastic wine!

The second bottle of birthday gift received last year. We have a group of friend we cook & drink with. We call ourselves the Peninsula wine club.
My wife says its "raisiny'
Has tannins. Should go well with the ribs & corn course.
