I had this as part of my club shipment but hadn't gotten around to opening it right away. What a pleasant surprise it was when I finally got around to it. My wife used the aerator and I did not but after a little time sitting open it was just as good without. The first thing you will notice is the deep rich color that's so good you think you should be able us it for a royal gown. I love a jammy and intense wine. I wasn't disappointed. Now I have to get more before they sell out. — 9 years ago

Mas de Boislauzon has been my go to wine when I'm craving for a glass of full bodied, contemporary styled, affordable CdP. Although I think it usually peaks at around 5-7 years, it is more than drinkable young. Fruit forward without being overly jammy. Blackberry, pine tree, oak on the nose. Full bodied with medium to high tannins on the palate. Some floral notes on the finish, perhaps violet. Perfect wine for the upcoming holiday season. — 7 years ago
Another solid zin from Rockpile! Blackberry and boysenberry greet your nose, along with some pepper and spice. Dark fruit dominates the palate--tannins were a little assertive at first, but our aerating pourer toned it down nicely. So would decanting. — 7 years ago
A Malbec I actually like. Dark dark blackberry fruit tempered by dark stony minerality. And a woodsy underbrush note. Mouthfilling, with loads of relatively (for Malbec) soft tannin. Dark berry and mineral flavors are very pure. Very nice for a dinner on a snowy winter night. — 8 years ago
