Very close to my idea of a desert island wine. At 13% it has more smooth edges but that lovely thread of acidity common to its more expensive & jagged Vallana cousins. Dark red fruits, violets, tree bark. Juicy too, the tannins are pretty integrated. Skurnik importer. — 5 years ago
Deep, damson mid season cherry, licorice, anise, rustic nose, juicy, complex, huge furry tannins. Well made, decent length, balanced and pretty, elegant. Needs air.
On day 2 this is transformed. Ripe and rich with wonderful stylishness and pure deep fruit. Terrific wine. — 6 years ago

Really nice wine. Fruity with great balance and some acidity asking for another sip. Had with orecchiette with rapini and roasted tomatoes ( among other things) and they were fabulous together. Earthy with a beautiful fruity, sour cherry character. — 8 years ago
