Nez de fraises. Doux comme un Beaujolais nouveau — 10 months ago
Really refreshing, great bubbles, classic yeasty flave. — 3 years ago
Alcohol heat needs to burn off when first popped, but with a moderate decant/air has a lovely Nebbiolo-ish approach to its Greek DNA. Light red in appearance, white pepper & cherry life savers on nose. Medium light body, acid plus, edges rounded after a bit. Cherries & Persimmon on palate. Had w veal parm takeout, Pandemic style, before the last round of family Rummikub. Delicious, in a prickly kinda way. Made Asimov s top 20 wines under 20$. — 4 years ago
Despite being 5 years old, there was very little color loss around the edges.
Aroma: Lots of black currant, plum, cooked fruit, black cherry skin, with a hint of anise on the finish.
Taste: Black Cherry skin, plum, cooked fruit, blackberry skin with a slight herbaceous finish. Med+ acid. Quite a bargain. — 6 years ago
Cherries and baking spices. 🍒 Super inky — not for someone who minds stained teeth! 🙊 — 7 years ago
Big bodied, large tannins, raspberries, and ash like quality from the volcanic soil. Great wine for the price and amazing substitute if you don't want to spend the money on a Barolo or Barberesco. — 8 years ago
2012. Very earthy. Nice wine to drink on a cool summer eve — 10 years ago
Dark garnet/Medium ruby color. Bright aromas of ripe red cherries, earth and baking spices. Just a hint of Brett. Cherries also fill the palate along with notes of plum, minerals, black olives and dried herbs. Faint touch of vanilla on the medium finish. Bright acidity and light tannins. Nicely aged. — 9 months ago
Very deftly oaked, vibrant and with great energy.
Nice reduction with toasted sesame, flinty notes. Cool, fresh. Green rather than yellow fruit - underripe pineapple, green papaya. Highly enticing.
On the palate this poised, elegant, with tension, juicy acidity and nice depth. Much more exotic on the palate with guava, pineapple and a bit of spice with the oak adding to the breadth. The vibrant acidity holds everything in check.
Not a Meursault but not far at all.
Unexpectedly delicious. — 10 months ago

Moroccan cuisine and Greek wine are a winning combo tonight in Montreal at dinner with my little sister. Anise, jasmine, rose, lavender, raspberry, smoke and dust together form a light bodied wine with tension and intense fragrance. Absolutely lovely and a steal too. — 6 years ago
Really good. Fruity and light, perfect with seafood. — 7 years ago
This was a surprise, and a very pleasant one! Smokey, with dark red fruit (prevalent blackberry). Reminiscent of Zinfandel — 9 years ago
Xinomavro is really a variety to seek out if you want to drink complex wines of the highest level that still are really affordable. I love it. The nebbiolo market seems slightly flooded in 2023 and if you are looking for something similar this is it. Complex mesmerising aromas and a super structured and well balanced wine. Dark berries, plums, baking spices, marzipan, bay leaf, olives, mushrooms. Silky texture and a tannic finish. — 9 months ago
Honestly impressed with how well this has held up and aged gracefully. Delicious, nice developed tannins, slight earth. Dark cherry. — 9 months ago
Tasted at Vine Styles. Loved it — 2 years ago
Very expressive combination of floral and mineral aromas. Mouth puckering acidity that handcuffs any fruit that wants to get flabby. I will confess I was surprised to learn there was some new French oak utilized. What I love about wine and especially tasting blind is I am constantly reminded how little I know. — 6 years ago
Very cool old Greek wine! Semi translucent brick colour, sour cherry on the nose. Medium body, velvety round tannins, leathery, dried fruit, cooking herbs, maybe tomato? I've never had old Barolo but if I had to guess I think this would be similar. 🇬🇷💙 — 7 years ago
Im sorry, did I just open a Barbaresco? What a nose. Mouth-filling. Delicious. — 8 years ago

Vintage 2020 | cherries (squared), creamy, spices, soft first impression, acidity that might frighten someone, but also a velvet impression. — 8 months ago
