No edge to be found, in a surreal state. Rich and complex. Plum, toasted oak, mocha and a spicy element fill the palate. Smooth and silky. Love how it show all the details yet has focus. Do you like California cabs? Are you willing to pay a premium since you love big-red-but-angelic tannins? Get this and don't look back. Or any of the cabs from O'Shag, I've had nothing but greatness from their Howell Mountain and Mt Veeder vintages. Pair with your favorite cut of steak, and maybe throw on some Sinatra while you're at it.

Reason this is a consistent 90pt wine, it's very good. Bouquet is a dusty, peppery bowl of dark cherry. Taste is bright fruit, peppery, dark berry, a bit chewy and leathery. Great with a spicy Italian dish and Sinatra in the background ! — 11 years ago

Color of dark amber. Nose is mellow with oak, sweet baked apple, sweet pear, spice from alcohol, nice flavors eater, smooth bourbon, and nothing close to indicate she is 90 proof. Taste is waves of sweetness with spicy bourbon, milk chocolate, canyon, oak, concentrated, powerful, zesty, yet smooth.
