One blue margarita and truly couldn’t be happier to say goodnight and go home to my next review haha. What do you know the granaritic soils of Paarl do well by a fruit forward Cab. Rich blue and black berries but a grand rip of acid. Wholeheartedly a new world baby, as the earth was minimal, but a simpler offering sometimes is just what you desire. The structure limber and balanced on the light side. It does not demand a steak but it’s surely not bubble gum. It’s a dance partner who has no flair but knows the choreography and rhythm cold. — 7 years ago
2016, a other tightly wound pinot I had the pleasure to try. A bit simpler than it's big sister by its side but has a total of 9 clones blended so I'm going to venture to say it will be ever evolving — 8 years ago
Summertime with girl with a paper fan, slow and relaxing, a young woman without too much complexity, simpler, not straightforward but like light breeze in summer afternoon. Kinda quiet. — 8 years ago
That's pretty damn good for being in a can I would even use for a mimosa — 8 years ago
I quite enjoyed this wine. In my attempt to regionally diversify my Riesling consumption; I made the move to the Finger Lakes. I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised. Nose showed fruit and a faint rubber. Palate showed primary fruit and was fresh, with an acid backbone that ran through. On the finish I got an apple skin bitterness that I wasn’t a fan of. In my opinion this wine is on the simpler side, yet at the price point it seems to be a value for quality. I would be happy to drink it again. — 10 years ago
2010 vintage. Very interesting. It has a very distinct cherry note throughout the whole taste — I even feel like it can be confused with some simpler red Bourgogne on the nose. Cherry juice on the palate, with some stone fruit, limestone, a bit of lychee and just a touch of gasoline. Very enjoyable acidity, has years of life left in it, even from an off vintage. — 10 years ago
Vibrant acidity balances the sweetness, and there's nice pineapple and lemon flavors. Actually reminds me of a simpler version of SGN pinot Gris. — 12 years ago
Good with food. Not by itself — 7 years ago
Denser, weightier than Felsina but also shallower. The structure is simpler and the aroma is not as lively. Has subtle authentic perfume, just not as appealing as Felsina. — 7 years ago
My last bottle of one of my favorites. Simpler than the so called Big Brother from Alto Moncayo. Nice balance, low acid, smooth fruit.

Reminiscent of simpler days — 8 years ago
Clarity, smell, and taste are all fantastic. Not my favorite of Cinciano but I would definitely buy again. I like more complex flavors in my wine, so this is a bit simpler. — 10 years ago
This producer brings it even with his simpler wines. Loved it #msclassic #redburgundy #pinotnoir — 10 years ago
Great Tuesday night Lafon. Has the purity and drive of its big sisters up north. A simpler, more linear version of his Meursaults, but still racy and delicious. — 11 years ago
Pretty good qpr simpler but recognizable Barossa juice and if you listen there is quite a lot to hear — 11 years ago
Pretty and pure raspberry and blackberry with a touch of earth, plenty of fine tannin, nice but a little prettier and simpler than I prefer my Cornas. — 7 years ago
Really excellent. A touch fruity and citrusy but still very dry. Went wonderfully with a slightly simpler seafood dish. — 7 years ago
Perhaps not as exciting as the 2015, but always a fine effort. Simpler, unoaked and much more affordable Barbaresco than the official cru wines at this price is always a no-brainer for me. The typical flowery, tart red berry and mint profile but with a bit less density and primary fruit than its predecessor. Great value as always. — 8 years ago
Had this at home 1/5/17 with Kallem. Liked it a lot, a bit simpler than some Ridge zin, but nice drinking. — 8 years ago
Juicier than ‘15, simpler than 14’
Tasty and super drinkable, but i was hoping for a more expressive wine. Looking forward to seeing where this will go with time. — 8 years ago
Ths pleasures of simpler aged Bordeaux — 10 years ago
This Riesling is in the sweet spot on the sweetness scale. It's crisp, but I think it lacks a little something. It's not especially fruity, which is preferable to me if I'm in the mood for a simpler flavor. — 10 years ago
Juicy, high acidity and ripeness, salty mineral backbone and some lemon peel on the finish. More expressive but perhaps simpler than other expressions of this style. That's not a bad thing! — 11 years ago
If life and the world were simpler I would say: My favourite white. — 11 years ago
