Very nice and interesting Syrah from the Rhone. Aromatically not that intense, but this has great freshness and acidity, with medium tannins. More purity of restrained fruit than earth or funk. Quite nice with a ribeye at Prairie Whale in the Berkshires. — 8 years ago

Im a Lopez/Rio Alta (w dips into CVNE) guy, so this was unexplored territory into mid/high end Rioja. All seamless, plush mouthfeel, rich rich rich black cherries, w enough acidic undertow to keep it fresh & reaching for next glass. Had after food so would love to taste with-bet its transformed. What an awesome rose. Probably unlike anything I've ever tasted, la clarine or not, yet it has that same unmistakably la clarine profile. the wine changes every second: carrots, pink lemonade, cantaloupe, fresh peaches, and white cherries come to mind. I can't wait to buy more. — 11 years ago
