On the rustic side. Whole clusters and stems fermentation. Fun at village level. Can go on for a couple more years! Thanks @Alessandro da Fies — 11 years ago

It's a 2000 that I'm drinking on the other side of peak. Decanted like I've not decanted before. It got there, though. Delicious. — 10 years ago
This wine is awesome. The end! Deep color, rich and lush mid-palate, nice acidity, soft silky tannins. Get in my belly! — 10 years ago
A nose almost like a stout, saturated with vanilla and chocolate and just a touch of ripe blackberry fruit. The palate is still a little blousy and flabby, with huge sweet fruit and mounds of residual sugar meeting the usual suspects of tobacco and tar on the terroir side of things. A little acid balances things out. Unbelievable that this much fruit remains after so many years. — 11 years ago
Fine Sauv Blanc, definitely a food wine. — 11 years ago
It's on the sweeter side. It's great for aperitif or tapas. I think it will also work with desserts. — 11 years ago

1996 Favorite of the evening, side by side with Lalande, a bit of tobacco, fine tannin, med body. — 11 years ago

Earthy and still a bit tannic, a darker side of Lalande. I think it will shine in another 5-10 years. — 11 years ago
Nice wine at a nice price point. — 11 years ago

Such beautiful expressions of aged Chablis, tried the 86/88's side by side, definite aged cumquat on the '86, with a little botrytis, the '88 was a little leaner, but needed time to open up. Amazing wines. — 10 years ago
