Lemon curd and fennel shortbread cookies. ....yes please — 11 years ago
2008 Vintage. Dark ruby red in the glass. The nose offers up lilac, high toned cherry, strawberry preserves, chamomile tea and clay. Black raspberry, & shortbread burst onto the palate, but this wine is all about texture. Very rich, polished, texture that has bright acidity to bring this wine full circle. Very fun and complex wine. — 11 years ago

An amazing nose of dark chocolate, baked apple and smoky honey along with great minerality. A lovely freshness in the mouth but with a depth of apple skin, shortbread, good vinosity — 11 years ago
Shortbread cookie, honey, honeysuckle nose. Also carmely saltine crackers. Palate: beautifully fatted mid palate with lemon meringue delicate acid finish.

Crystal clear, deep golden amber in colour. Watery rim, thin and slow legs. Nose condition clean. Fun, fragrant and expressive nose exudes honey, botrydis, orange jam, orange peel, brandied apricots and lemon cheesecake. Lucious in sweetness, medium (+) acdity and pronounced intensity of flavours. Exciting palate, intense flavours of brandied apricot, apricot liquer, white peach, nectarines, butter and shortbread biscuits. Intense, concentrated long finish. This wine is fantastic drinking now but with excellent sugar / acid balance will hold for some extra ageing — 10 years ago
This Bordeaux Blanc Sec is a classic blend of 70% Sauvignon Blanc and 30% Sémillon, and is quite a steal at less than $20 per bottle considering it's from Domaine de Chevalier. Fragrant floral notes are rounded out by rich aromas of shortbread cookie, pear, honeydew melon and a hint of freshly mown grass. Full-bodied with medium acidity, lovely toasty notes bolster a core of sweet fruit. Mineral accents and candied grapefruit show through on a lengthy, meandering finish. 13.5% ABV — 11 years ago
Crystal clear straw yellow with green hues in the glass. Lots of mineral on the salty chalky nose with a touch of match strike. Bright lemon and lime lead the charge here but Granny Smith Apple and pear round out to finishing flavors of shortbread and toasted marshmallow that are balanced by lip smacking acidity. Finish is long and persistent. — 11 years ago

Lively nose of strawberry mouse, shortbread, cream soda and lemon pith. Fine bubbles and racy acidity. Finishes a little short, but has incredible mouthful and structure. — 10 years ago
musky apple and pear orchard w lemon polish and shortbread ~ oily texture up front w dry slightly mineral finish — 10 years ago
Alarmingly easy to drink. Very mineral and "bready"-- reminds me of pastries and shortbread, with a hint of lemon sorbet. Actually prefer this to the Roulot Bourgogne Blanc. — 11 years ago
Served with: raspberry sorbet, chamomile cheesecake and lemon shortbread — 11 years ago
Really nice. Tasted some shortbread flavours, really subtle and light. — 12 years ago
