Wow! These folks know how to do wine. This is the way Amador County Zin is done. Great cherry bouquet, light to medium body, fruit forward, smooth mild tannin, medium finish. The winemaker is the inventor of Captain Crunch and Clif bars! A true food scientist! — 8 years ago
Bright red sour cherry, rose petals, spice. M+ acid, m+ tannin. Long finish. Floral and aromatic. I can't believe this is from California and not Italy. — 9 years ago

Very good Barbera. Full bodied wine more like a cab but has a sweetness to it that was unexpected. — 9 years ago

Everything I love in Amador Zin. Fruit is beyond the standard berry jam of some. Tastes of Marion berries and Bing cherry. Chewy and zingy too. Nice stuff. — 8 years ago
