Ocean spray, crushed sea shell, beautiful minerality, drinks like a Chablis...elegant — 10 years ago
From the Tour dArgent wine list. FnA. This is amazing Chablis. Light to med gold. Closed at first. Just wait... There it is. Kermidgean white soil and white rock stone. Shell bits. Over 3 hrs this built into that honeyed mineral stone pit fruit thing that is aged Raveneau. It's what got me interested in Chablis. It's why that disease continues. — 11 years ago
Zesty, vibrant acidity, lovely citrus, oyster shell minerality, long finish. And an amazing value! Sheer joy in a glass. — 11 years ago
Really pleasant. Dry. Beautiful nose. 11.9%. Lemon peel and pears. I'm impressed. — 12 years ago
Flowers on the nose and palette — 8 years ago
Had 95 Trotanoy many times in the past year. This bottle was the most closed down. Only started to come out of its shell after 3 hours. A bit green and acidity a touch high. The balance is excellent though. May be entering an awkward phase. — 9 years ago
The best Zin I've ever had. Wow. — 11 years ago

A baby still with leathery notes of cassis, dust and shale. — 12 years ago
This village-level Chablis offers classic aromas of iodiney oyster shell and lime with a sexy suggestion of baked bread. Its thick, ripe flavors of orange zest and ginger are perfectly leavened by racy lemony acidity. Pair this penetrating wine with food now or hold it for 6 to 12 months. (ST) — 9 years ago

It was a Scherrer kind of night. Rich and savory with a chocolate essence that sticks with you long after the wine is gone. — 11 years ago
Nose of honey, oyster shell, and citrus. At once both firm, with cutting minerality and acid in the mouth, and opulent, with a plush perfume from the small amount of new oak. Just lovely. — 11 years ago
