I love this wine. The taste is very unique and quite enjoyable. Taste like a mosquito. I just wish I could find more of it. Will definitely buy again. — 8 years ago
Rich and dark red fruits, dark, soft tannins
Deep purple colour
Light and shade — 9 years ago
Blanc not Noir. Apple, ripe pear, rolling in my mouth, smooth with a touch of tartness in the finish. Lawn clippings under a shade tree. A plump bird sings on the branch. — 9 years ago
Truly an amazing wine. Pear, with hints of vanilla and the scent of a cool shade tree on summer day. Very smooth to drink with amazing tannins and a subtle but sweet chewiness that goes amazing with chocolate — 10 years ago
Fantastic nose. Honeysuckle and rich ripe apple. Quite a bit of slate which blends well. Wonderful mildly ripe Bosch pear on the quaff. Finish falls a shade short. Punches at the right price point. — 10 years ago
So good I could chug it. Great wine trolley purchase. — 10 years ago
A hair shade light in the glass but very agreeable balance of constituent notes. Drink now. — 10 years ago
Not quite it's normal wow I think this bottle a shade off. — 10 years ago

You can tell they really get close to the full 20% Viognier allowed to blend this in these wines. The bright cherry and faint peach flavors and a color shade thicker than blood. Not very oaky, new wine to definitely throw into the vast memory bank under "new". Rich raspberry, not very floral, medium + weight, medium acid, medium minus tannin. — 8 years ago
Aromas are fully opened up. Clay earthiness, forest, Med plus inensity, ripen black fig, dark cherry, int pencil shade shade and layers of vanilla and oak character. Med body, tons of black pepper and red spicy red pepper spices, bittrness and vanilla oak on the second palate, med plus tannin, long lingering finish of butterscotch whiskey finish. Great steak with butter wine. — 9 years ago
Third out of the three year blind vertical after the blind Burgundy night. Deep garnet red but a shade or two lighter than the 2002 and 2006. Lots of rustic, earthy and vegetal notes on the nose. Vegetal such as bell peppers. Moderate tannins (6/10) and medium bodied. Lots of greenery, some bark and definitely a rustic edge. Long and lingering finish, that is quite dry. Drink till 2025. — 10 years ago
Lovely! Not too sweet, not too bubbly! Beautiful shade of pink! — 10 years ago
More color than in the Sonoma Coast offering shows immediately, a deeper and darker shade than the Sonoma Coast bottling. The nose is a little more savory, too, with more tea notes but still offering a basket full of bright fruit. The palate shows darker, but it does not go near what we might call “bold.” It is deeper and richer, again with food-friendly acidity to die for. 8 months oak 25% new.

Smells like dank nug. Kiwi and melon on palate. Medium plus body and acidity. A shade of wool. — 10 years ago
Give this baby a decant. — 10 years ago
The most beautiful shade of pink I have ever seen. Smells of everything summer. Juicy plums, cherries. Dry and a fine bead of tannins cap off a very enjoyable experience. Best rose I have ever had. — 11 years ago
On the nose, green apple, pineapple, lemon, lime, just underripe green melon, peach, notes of honey, hints of flint and yellow florals. The body is full, creamy & a touch oily. I'm guessing some extra time on less with some stirring. Green & golden apple, lime, lemon, pineapple, green melon & peach. Honey heathered, fine chalkiness and powdery fine minerals, beautiful round acidity with a long, thick, beautiful, elegant, polished finish. The more it warms up in the glass, the better it gets. Oliver their Winemaker, made Meo Camuzet before coming back to take reins at Hubert Lamy. This terroir is one of the most underrated in Burgundy and remains one of Burgundies best values. Photos of; the Domaine, the En Remilly and the father and son team of Hubert & Oliver. This may be $82 on Delectable but it's just a shade above $50 on pre-arrival. — 8 years ago
Nose of lightly; sweet, tart and sour ripe elegant fruits of; blackberries blueberries, pouched black plum, black raspberries, cherries, strawberries, faint rich moist, black soil, light; clove, cinnamon and vanilla and bright, fresh, fragment red florals. The fruits match the nose and are ruby ripe with a shade of candied characteristics. A little more pronounced moist rich dark earth than on the nose, vanilla, light clove, gentle, soft crushed dry rock powder, fresh dark, gently perfumed red & dark fresh florals. The mouthfeel is big, rich & lush. The balance of earth and fruit is like a fine Burgundian. The length is long as is the rich finish and the acidity is perfect. Beautiful fresh wine. @ Wakatipu Grill, Central Otago — 9 years ago
Beautiful bloody and transparent shade of red. The aroma reminds me of dry prune or dry ripe/resinated black grape. On the palate, the wine is easy drinking, medium astringency, with balanced red cherry, earthy quality, and spices. Went surprisingly well with our sushi omakase! — 9 years ago
The colour of this was intense!! An epic shade of yellow I have now experienced. The wine itself lived up to the hype. — 9 years ago
From a good friend, has become one I look forward to sipping. It is smooth as a cold creek rock in the shade. — 10 years ago
Full name is the Trousseau Marne Rouge Reserve du Caveau Cuvee des Geologues in case that matters.... but it's a super-pretty Trousseau. Not like those funky poulsards from the Jura, this is really about fresh, just-crushed fruit even though its gentle concentration makes it spritely and thirst-quenching. It's clean and vibrant - no funk here, though it does have just a shade if cedary oak. — 10 years ago
Very refreshing on a very, very hot day. Sitting in the shade now at the Marina. — 10 years ago
I've done a Spanish Cava and Jazz night before but Jazz and Shiraz was new for me. And it was absolutely perfect on a chilly Perth evening at @tartscafe with a beaut bottle like this.
Deep seductively sexy shade of red in the glass (good one @towardmusic). Rich aromas of warm sweet berries and is just plain intoxicating on the nose. It caresses the palate with alluring tannins and flavours of mulberries, chocolate and a nice black pepper & berry zing which carries on well into the night. $42 a bottle at Tarts and it's also organic & vegan. All opinions are based on my own taste buds. #wine #tcweekdaywine #shiraz #perth #jazz #battleofbosworth — 10 years ago

What can’t be great about a rustic tannic sagrantino while sitting outdoors in the shade under fans and it’s your last day of work. — 8 years ago
