2020 vintage. A fave CA chard and producer. Medium-medium heavy body. Tasting slightly more tropical and advanced with less acidity than usual. Still absolutely delicious tho. Would like to retaste and reevaluate in 5-6 months tho. Based on 30 vintages of tasting this particular wine, betting it reconciles any tawdry, fleeting concerns that occupy my compromised palate and right quick. 01.22.25. — 9 months ago
Tons of red and dark fruit. Mainly cherries and a bit of raspberry and spice. — 10 months ago
Based on day 2. I really enjoyed this as it opened up. Great texture with lemon curd, stone fruit, marzipan and lively acidity. So well balanced. — 10 months ago

39.97 from new season. Balanced. Round. Worth the price. Would buy again — 7 years ago
Tried the '90 recently, spoke of how amazing a producer of Californian Cabernet it is, but just needed a little more time, this '85 is well & truly on point, everything is in balance, there's fruit intensity yes, but the development/complexity/layers are really shining through, outstanding stuff. — 9 years ago
Love this rosé. Killer with BBQ. — 10 years ago
Well-made single varietal cabernet grown near Monte Bello. Smooth blackberry and graphite. Round and medium weight mouthfeel. Less complexity given the single varietal but made with finesse. — 5 months ago
Named after Colene’s great granddaughter, medium Ruby color with aromas of berry fruit and nutty spice aromas. On the palate flavors of ripe strawberry and cherry fruit with tea and licorice notes, lively acidity with herb spices. Long finish, fine tannins, ending with mineral tones. Nice, small production. — 6 months ago
Sour cherry; woodsy; spice mix of cloves and cinnamon. Well integrated and restrained. This is great stuff and a great value at the price. — 9 months ago
Really interesting Pinot. This wine is very young and should age very well. Deep ruby color lots of fruit and a lot more tannins. When I opened the bottle the tannins were over bearing and had a grassy aftertaste. When I tasted the same bottle the next day it was FAR more balanced. The fruit was still great but the tannins were much softer and well balanced. This wine can hold up to more cellar time but if I had decanted it would have been better. While this wine was pretty pricey ($100), I think it is worth it! — 9 months ago

Cranberry, strawberry, sassafras. Chocolate cupcake. High toned. Light bodied. Easy to drink. With depth and character. Very good! — 5 months ago
Looks like a nice Columbia Valley Cab. Dark color. Heady and dense nose. Maybe a herbal and earthy streak in with the plum sauce on the nose. Flavors are chewy and vicious. Horehound meets berry cobbler and a bit of flint. Plenty bittersweet like a good Cab should be. Has a big style, but holds a bit of elegance as well. Will be great with the grilled steak I’m going to have with it later. A nice find at the grocery outlet 20% off wine sale. — 6 months ago
Very pleasant, soft tannins — 6 months ago
Paired well with a lamb, eggplant purée, fava beans, piquolo pepper. Would also pair with a medium rare magret duck or other game. — 10 years ago
Tiny bit sparklingly, but amazing moscato😃😃😃😃❤️ — 12 years ago
Sipping Fine Wine
Medium lemon color, aromas of stone and citrus fruits with floral, honey and flinty mineral notes, aged 9 months in Stockinger Pincheons, then 6 months in stainless. On the palate flavors of apple and pear with citrus and floral wrapped in a nutty vanilla spice. Long finish, lively acidity, ending with fruit, toasty oak, spice and savory citrus character. — 4 months ago
