Fantastic bottle! Air out for just 10 mins. and the magic begins! The nose just takes over your senses! The berries seem to be enriched with chocolate and cola. The finish softens and envelopes the tongue lustfully. I'd drink this alone and prefer not to share it! — 13 years ago
so yum. Plush red fruit, tapenade, mouth filling but graceful, appealing directly to pleasure senses ✨ — 10 years ago
Tonight's opening act. Hitting its stride at the proper temp. Finding some unanticipated complexity. Delicious. — 11 years ago
Our absolute favorite at the tasting was the brooding '11 Cambria Pinot Noir 'Barbara's Clone 667'. The intensity of the sweet dark fruit and candied black cherry aromas nearly overwhelmed the senses. Long juicy finish. This one had us joining the Wine Club. Bravo! — 12 years ago
Young and sweet, in both senses. — 13 years ago
Jumillas Land has its own earthy characteristic. And this wine collects in perfect harmony all these senses from the earth. Good tannic balance , mineral taste with sparkling notes of wild fruits. I recommend it. — 11 years ago
Showing an earthy and savory bouquet of tart cherry, saddle leather, raw meat, and dried flowers. The palate is youthfully firm but with a vibrancy that keeps it engaging. Dried red fruits, cedar and hints of herbs lingered on the senses. Very nice. — 11 years ago

The 2012 vintage wines lacked a little power the previous year's vintage displayed. Still, the '12 Cambria Pinot Noir 'Clone 115' had rich dark cherry and spice aromas that pleased the senses. Firm tannins on the spicy finish will undoubtably soften with a little more bottle age. — 12 years ago

Tonight, the '06 Lagier Meredith Syrah, is showing like a top-shelf Cote Rotie. The nose is displaying intense, rich dark fruits, soaring floral aromatics, sweet spice & herbs, moist earth and crushed stone. On the palate, a mix of crushed blackberries, raisins, licorice and plum saturated the senses complemented by sweet herbs, and hints of citrus. As intense a display as it is, the textures remain refined and fresh. The finish is long with bitter dark fruit and remnants of fine tannin. Although ripe, it shows tremendous depth and energy. — 10 years ago
