Browning crimson red. Tiring looking, fading in color. Dull and widened rim.
Decent bouquet of mature Bordeaux claret. Dried cassis, blackberry, mushroom, cedar, cured meat, old leather, and damp soil.
Completely resolved. Smooth mouthfeel full of dried red fruit, minerals, graphite. Lingering sensation of cedary oak on the backend.
Great price at less than 20 euro. An elegant wine given the hot year. Pop and pour recommended. 89.

Red berries, melon, food friendly and can hold up on own. Gluglugluh. — 9 years ago
I agree with @Andrew Cooper it has intense almost chewable flavor and very refreshing and balanced acidity. There's a sensation of #minerality that when #blindtasting could almost lead you to think it's a Riesling from Alsace. 14 alcohol. #jurançon — 9 years ago
Elisabetta's pearl wine, slate n sandy cherry, juicy cassis still tart, what a lovely lingering sensation! — 10 years ago
Amber color that actually looks like a topaz stone. Incredible nose. Figs, dates, caramel, whisky, vanilla toast, toffee. Dry #sherry with an almost acidic sensation and lots of bitters and a never-ending finish of coffee salt and blood oranges — 10 years ago

So much subtlety going on with this wine. Lots of flavors from great fruit and great minerality. Lots of complexity that is super fun to unpack. Definitely have the sensation of never being able to taste all of the flavors in this. — 7 years ago
The bright golden color of this Riesling is very intense such as the nose that offers a clean fragrant bouquet. The first smell goes on greedy ripe fruit and hints of fresh butter quickly balanced by floral aromas. The first sensation of the palate is lively and reveals a sharp freshness on delicate green apple and lime. Then it soften to give flavorsome white peach aromas. Very well balanced the finish is smooth and refreshing. For those who like to have a evolving palate, this wine will not let you down. — 8 years ago
Loved it at Press in St Helena after Albariño and Pinot Noir. Strong but soft, my happy place when one begins to describe older characteristics in a wine without the wine becoming a dead piece of acid without elegance and all you are left with is a sharp sensation and a longing to have opened the wine 10 years ago. Anyhow- beautiful wine and definitely the time to drink it!! — 9 years ago
Nice and dry with a great wiff of leather and tobacco. Just a hint of ruby cherries. A very nice drying sensation on your tongue after each sip. — 10 years ago
The nose made me smile. This wine is floral reminds me of a spring day when all of flowers are in bloom and the sky is filled with wonder. I enjoy Torrentes but this one has to be one of my favorites until I taste another that evokes the same sensation. — 10 years ago

82% Grenache • 18% Mourvèdre • This wine was aged for 42 months in a combination of 1 year old hogsheads, and 600 and 800 liter demi-muid. The wine was bottled without fining or filtration. It attacks the palate with amazing fruit, complexity, structure and concentration. — 11 years ago
Handsome caramel brown color. Caramel toffey comes on the nose as well, softly, along with cobs of corn. Beautiful passage through the palate, very orderly and harmonious, with phenomenal complexity, all in a medium to full body. Leatherly sensation on the tongue. Sweet toasty flavor on the long finish. Oily sensation at the end. 93 pts. — 11 years ago
Tingly sensation on the tongue. Once it has had time to breathe, very unique and delicious. Has a slight wheat beer after taste! Very good 2nd day! ~$14 @ liquor mart, boulder, co. — 13 years ago
Very nice Kabinett here. Leaves quite dry sensation even though there is residual sugar here. Not the lightest od Mosel Kabinetts but a very good one. — 7 years ago
#magnum #barberadasti developed, ripe high tannins, high alcohol sensation even though label says 13.5, low acidity, very Mediterranean, still smooth texture and complex tertiary aromas. I thought it had some Merlot or Mourvèdre blind tasting, very cooked red fruit. — 8 years ago
This Albariño pours up pretty in the glass - yellow-gold and a touch of bubbles. The bubbly sensation doesn't last too long, but it's festive while it’s there. The nose brings some citrus - of course - and a smattering of stone fruit and ripe apples. In the mouth, the magic really begins. The acidity is razor-sharp and a complete delight. The bottle should come with a dozen oysters. Flavors of apples and Meyer lemons grace the palate and you simply don't run out of minerals. There's a lot to like here, and it lasts long beyond the sip. — 9 years ago
#loureiro #treixadura #riasbaixas #albariño delicious aromas of lemons limes oranges grass and fennel. Refreshing and quite the quaffer. A nice chalky and citric sensation on the tongue. — 10 years ago

Medium garnet sweet nose of strawberries and cream caramel. Drinking incredibly well for a 2009. Makes me think this winery is more of a modern style Barolo. Has racy acidity and good fruit, tannins are pronounced with a tea bag sensation but balanced on the whole. Renews my faith. — 11 years ago
Enjoyable wine, complex dark fruit, plums, cherries and blackcurrants. Intense on the nose, carries onto the palate. Layers of flavours, drieng sensation on the finish with fantastic acidity. Very young, under stelvin and needs time. 91+ points. — 11 years ago

Nice wine - definitely a step up in complexity from a “normal” white. I would recommend this wine to anyone looking to understand what an ocean-like salinity really tastes like as that sensation is quite intense here. Loads of acid but still balanced. — 6 years ago
