Best dessert wine ever? — 8 years ago
A really good dessert wine. As good as many Sauternes. — 9 years ago
Mesmerizing nose, crazy complexity, salty caramel, gunpowder, grilled peach, sweet tobacco, matchstick, marzipan and - as my daughter added pretty aptly - a whiff of 'honingdrop' (traditional Dutch honey/licorice-flavoured candy).
On the palate, these nuances are slightly less articulate and clear, which keeps me from throwing in an 'extraordinary' score. Highly recommanded, though! — 9 years ago

Superb finish to a great dining experience! — 7 years ago
Enjoyed at Auberges des Seigneurs in Vence, rural Provence. A perfect accompaniment to fire roasted chicken and Provençal vegetables. Rose petals on the nose, flavours on the palate encompass apple cider, crème brûlée, lemon citrus, and sweet grapefruit. Beautiful balance of acid and sweetness. Long satisfying tart finish. C'est superb! — 8 years ago
25 years old and still amazingly fruity, rich. — 9 years ago
Fruit with a flat, dry finish. Comparable taste. Better on the warmer side...matures a bit. Beauty straw color. Medium heavy thickness. Some legs. Drink it. It's got some funk. — 9 years ago
Smooth, full bodied and deep. Blackberry notes definitely come through. Well worth a quoff. — 9 years ago

Monbazillac especially Gramde Madison produce some of the best dessert wines. Not overly sweet honey, pear, and hints of figs. Liquid gold! — 6 years ago
