This is one of my favorite white wines of all time and this vintage is the best I’ve ever tasted. Lemongrass, honey suckle, saline notes, mist, and slightly effervescent. Seaside liquid freshness with low acidity, low alcohol, but medium plus body. From an indigenous grape in Basque Country in Norther Spain, so pleasantly good, a crowd pleaser for sure! Good value to top it all off, hovering around the twenty some dollar range. — 4 years ago
Excellent Zin picked up at the Seaside Wine Festival 2019. Seaside, FL — 5 years ago
This has all the markings of a mountainside red from volcanic soil, but it’s from the Lisbon seaside and has a subtle power that drives through your palette during a virus that has shut us down. — 5 years ago
Good for a seaside meal. Light and fruity — 7 years ago
This skin contact frizzante is bitter and bitter. This non-stop bitterness makes you wanna sip sip again. Fresh and summery with a seaside smell that will seduce you anytime. The fruit is well balance with a nice juicy texture. Its exotic, its tropical, its awesome — 8 years ago
Very nice for the price point.
Love Albariño, am I going to the seaside, am I going Tropical, bitting lemons... ? Should we come up with a scale, like the sugar ladder on bottles of Riesling?
Slap you awake, crisp lemony acidity, some stainless, mineral in the direction of salinity but could also be a fusion of stainless and acidity, slight waxy floral.
Bright yellow synthetic cork was fun, noticeable, and investigable. Orange would be more aligned with the hues in the label, but, thats just me.

From what I understand after translation, this blend’s contents were produced between Riomaggiore and Volastra (of and around Cinque Terre). In my travels through Italy this past summer, I actually had the chance to visit Riomaggiore. In this seaside town of Cinque Terre, I learned that the wines produced there are very hardy. Not only are the majority of these Cinque Terre vineyards constructed into the side of the cliffs/mountains/hills (whatever you’d like to label them, they’re featured on the bottle), they are also mere meters from the sea in some cases. I remember one of the local ladies of one of the five seaside towns telling me of one vineyard (can’t remember which one, probablyyy had too much wine that day) that was only 60 meters away from the surf. With this info in mind, you know that salt water will be absorbed through the grape vines, influencing the grapes’ taste. This results in a very light, delicate brine. It almost reminds me of a sea urchin, and on a lighter note, Haruno’s seaweed salad. 😂 I really dig this wine. A very translucent gold, almost a straw. Definitely let this one warm up a tad, from drinking it completely chilled to room temp, it’s an amazing change. Definitely prefer it after some warmth has reached it. And can we talk about how amazing it is that this wine had the chance to come to the US from like 5,000 miles away where the populations probably don’t exceed a couple of thousand people—and a select few of those choosing to devote their entire lives to cultivating these grape vines? Cheers to finally getting off work 🍻#cinqueterre #manarola #riomaggiore #wine #winetasting #photooftheday #instagood #italy #blend #white #travel #love #bisson #rosenthalwines — 6 years ago
Not typically a Pinot Noir lover but this one(voted 90 by Wine Spectator) smelled like fresh grapes but had a deeper flavor - — 7 years ago
Sunday night wine when the Monday tomorrow isn’t packed is such a wonderful treat. There are no more weekend obligations, just the unwinding of a warm week. A transitory time before the start of the next.
Frankly is starting to peg me for a particular palate. Apparently I like complex, versatile, and idiosyncratic white wines. Right now, this season, this moment. Yes. Tomorrow, who knows?
Aromatic. Perfume like citrus blossom. A bit of lavender.
This is super interesting. Kind of reminds me slightly of Falanghina. As promised, there’s that seaside saline quality, which I love. A little nutty. A little minerals. Flowers blossoming.
This is nice. The first three bottles recommended win out, but I’m glad to try a varietal I’ve never had before. Won’t be going to the Amalfi this summer anymore, but at least I can have something close enough in a glass. — 4 years ago
Delicious, at a tiny seaside cafe in Monterossa al Mare — 6 years ago
Fruity and refreshing — 7 years ago
Actually the Pinot 2014. For this price pretty good summer-ish house pour. Finishes like strawberry jam -- I want to eat it with peanuts and just own the PB&J vibe. The gimmicky design threw me off but I'd buy it again. — 8 years ago
