Pale lemon with aromas of stone fruits, blossom and yeasty notes, fine creamy mousse and tiny rapid bubble flow, full-bodied, ripe apple and pear on the palate, citrus and some spice, nice acidity, well balanced ending with toasty mineral notes. Nice! — 4 years ago
Light gold. Looks young. Took 5 hours to open up and show its stuff. In hour 6 this was cruising. Saline and sea shells, wispy lemon fruit, some honey, some white stone. The guesses from the fellas were 2002 Rav Clos and 1996 Rav Valmur. Shows how these properly stored aged Raveneaus can age effortlessly. — 5 years ago
It has been a great day hanging out with my love & best friend for Valentines Day. If I could give anyone young enough advise on selecting partner, marry your best friend you love. Greater degree of happiness & success. ❤️😍😘🥰
Love you Sofia and raise a glass of one of our favorite N/V Rosé Bubbles in celebration. Cheers! 🍾🥂
Happy Valentines Days everyone. Hope you are with the wine & one you love the most.

First glass w Coravin, drank w duck. Took a while to open up. Pleasant but not remarkable. — 7 years ago
Rose petal and violets mixed with fresh nectarine. Medium-full body for a rose and with nice dry texture on the long finish. — 7 years ago
Rich though lacked some oomph. May have been open awhile (by the glass) — 8 years ago

Dark berries, cherry, dried herb,
Same palate as nose, cigar box, coffee, high tannin, high but well balanced tannin, full body — 10 years ago
One of my favorite of the appellation. Spice is perfectly balance with red fruit. It´s earthy, complex and refined. A piece of beef tenderloin on barbecue, fleur de sel and a glass of Beaucastel, what else?! — 11 years ago
n splendid condition, this wine just rips. Nose is citrus and flowers, there’s a thickness to the palate and lots of candied lemon peel with some minerals and chalk, gentle integrated acidity and a classy finish that just echoes. Why we cellar white Burgundy is evident in this glass. — 4 years ago
Smooth, worth the money. — 5 years ago
Merry Christmas Eve-Eve!!! 🎄🎁🎅❄️🌟⛄️
Maybe, it’s the Christmas spirit and/or I really needed a good glass Rosé Champagne tonight but, I don’t recall this ever tasting better. Could simply be a better disgorgement? Ah, I’ll just say it’s Christmas Magic! Cheers! 🍾🥂
Shots around the house listening to our Christmas Eve Mix.
Yup, that’s my Wine Snowman! ⛄️
Be pairing this later with the Shari’s Chocolate Covered Strawberries that arrived today.

Kind to the palate — 6 years ago
A treat. Dark in color, slightly cloudy. A powerful nose with dark, very mouton fruit. Incredibly aromatic, blackcurrant, mint, graphite, dried herbs, eucalyptus. The palate is extraordinary. So dense and powerful for a wine of almost 70 years. Dark fruit with a savory undertow- leather, thyme, sour cherry, dark chocolate. Really precise flavors and long. After an hour or two in glass there’s notes of coconut and soft wood. Extraordinary. Clearly there’s a lot of age on this but the sheer quality makes for a really dynamic wine. An exceptional bottle, and a teal treat. — 7 years ago
The best pinot noir ever. Shared with family tastes even better — 10 years ago
5-Oh Bday Dinner... From a half bottle. Deep red and purple color. Mostly opaque and thick in the glass. There is still some good fruit in the nose with gravel and soil notes. Very round in the mouth. The wine hung in there over the hour it was consumed. Nice experience with an 80+ year old wine. — 10 years ago
Nice mouth feel and balance — 13 years ago
Super fresh and precise on the nose. Packed with minerals- lime, slate, salinity. Quite a glycerin mouthfeel. Super fresh and compact. All the transparency of 2011 and Raveneau. Needs time in the glass to open up. Still a puppy, but spectacular and all in place. Benefitting from air. — 4 years ago
Medium gold, heavy in the glass. Awesome aged Raveneau nose. Notes of citrus, kimmeridgian white stone and light colored dirt, some honey, some spice. Great mouth feel, with acidity that powered up over 4-5 hours. Awesome with some angel hair pasta and shrimp, looking out over the Kohala Coast. — 5 years ago
1997 Phelps Insignia. Didn’t decant. Poured from bottle. Wine evolved in the glass. Red roses, tar, lavender, dark fruit, cassis, mineral, earth, pencil shavings. Delicious with steak! — 6 years ago
45 min decant. Medium bodied, with earthy nose initially, picked up cherry, cedar notes with time in glass. Soft mellowed tannins & smooth finish. Thanks Pops! 👍 — 7 years ago
Smooth and light but rich flavor (TalentConnect2018) — 7 years ago
Very nice, different from the traditional Napa cab. Firm tannins, should be decanted. Last glass the next day did better (under vacuum) — 8 years ago

12' Sea Smoke Streamside Chardonnay. Last time I tried this particular bottle...made a note saying WAIT. It hasn't quite been a year.
Light golden in color(slightly darker then a year ago )Medium-ish body. This acidity has settled down since I had this last year(it needed to) quite nicely. Tropical flavors are still pronounced in the wine. Yellow apple, pear, pineapple, nutmeg & vanilla. Secondary flavors are starting to open up. Would enjoy trying this again in 2/3 years. — 10 years ago

As good a Pinot - 2009. - that I have had. Seamless. Tannins and fruits in near perfect harmony. Initial taste - amazing. AND it finishes just as good. — 4 years ago
