On the nose, prune and stewed plum, held together with sweet spice. On the tongue, silky and reserved at first, but opening up to reveal a full palette of blackberry and ripe plum. The finish is medium to long, the tannins and acidity are light, and this wine goes down almost too easily. — 10 years ago

Day one tannins were rough and wine needed a good hour to smooth out. Wine was still tight and didn't show very well. Day two wine still needs time to open. Full bodied, cherry,coffee, earthy palate.
