Gagliole is an ancient property sitting at 1640 feet above seal level. HOwever, having undergone a vine reintegration process, the vines are no older than 30 years. State Archives in Siena mention the estate as far back as 994 A.D. The Sangiovese vines enjoy exposure to the south-southwest, nestled between the gentle Chianti hills. A blend of 90% Sangiovese and 10% merlot, it is an enjoyable and easy going red. Vibrant cherry, plum, spice and a hint of leather together with well balanced tannins give the expected crisp Chianti Classico flavours sought by many. Approachable now or within the next 3-5 years. Great value!

Smoky! Just right — 9 years ago
Don't even know how this be cropped up but once we fought our way through the super heavy wax seal this was a delight; fruit salad and sherry trifle initially giving way to something a lot drier and cleaner, even at the far too warm temperature at which we were drinking it. — 9 years ago
Great Redwine blend from Argentina. When the wine was first opened, it tasted flaw with hint of dry cork. This vanished after leaving the wine alone for another day with the vacu cork seal.
Wine showed dark berry fruits and was well balanced! — 10 years ago
Nice sweetness in the aroma. Tastes just like bourbon county stout, but balanced very well and not overwhelming. Excellent. — 10 years ago
Nothing profound or intellectual, but pure & balanced. #kermitlynch is like the old Good Housekeeping seal of approval. Tasty juice. 60% Syrah 30% Grenache 10% Mourvedre. — 10 years ago
Love this wine. Perfectly flavorful but not too strong so can be served with a variety of food. And a beautiful bottle with wax seal. — 11 years ago
Very proper balance of fruit, spice, & musk... Damn, the ocean was so perfect today as a perfect balance of temperature, clarity, sealife, swell, wave form (nothing like a two-mile swim with a continuous dolphin escort!!!, then a few nose riding moments on the longboard... ) Ok, back to the CduP - groovy...! Thank you Lee & Lauren @ Soundside!! Hoo - f.....g yah ( SEAL talk) — 12 years ago

Seriously, Malibu. Do you have to use an inch of wax to seal every bottle? You're really making me work for this one. Ripe black cherry and baking spice entices the nose. Young bright and fun on the palate. It's definitely equipped for aging across the decade. Just have a machete handy to bust through that wax. Paired tonight's offering with a massive rare tomahawk steak. Nom nom. — 7 years ago
Received Keri's Super Good seal of approval 👍🏻 — 8 years ago
Now it's my turn to try this bad boy from Perliss. It was indeed an experience getting through the tough wax seal, but after a couple of YouTube videos and a few attempts I got the damned thing open! Seriously there needs to be a better way. Use the pull-tab a la Makers Mark. Anyway on to the wine, which is indeed really good! 100% Cabernet, the 2012 is made by Aaron Pott and I've become a huge fan of his wines. This one's from Calistoga and is brimming with dark fruit as well as chocolate and some toffee flavors. Totally drinkable now. Cheers! — 9 years ago
Bought for Robin & Elisabeth's trip. Had a terrible time opening both bottles as the seal was so thick. Wine was nice and would drink again if the packaging was different. Served with leg of lamb. — 9 years ago
This delivers a heckuva a lot of Barolo character for a $30 wine. Beautiful high-toned cherries, roses, and gaminess on the nose. I can't stop smelling it. Only showing some of that on the palate with tons of grip on the backend. Very more-ish as Jancis Robinson would say. Serious value here - can't remember the last time something at this price point delivered this kind of magic. Post script - after about an hour, this sadly settles down into a smoother, but much less intriguing wine. Gaminess is almost gone. Still a good Nebbiolo, but not the specialness that was there before. Will it re-emerge with time? — 10 years ago
I will be emptying as many of these as i can get my hands on. pomegranate, cranberry, white tea, raspberry skins, gleaming acid, and salty minerality to seal the deal. yum. #rose #cotescatalanes — 10 years ago

SeaBreeze Winery, Panama City Beach FL. Blueberries are actually from the state of Washington. However, the wine itself is made in Panama City Beach. Very satisfying, sweet, and delicious wine.
Cool and soft Sweet and tart all rolled into one delicious wine. Best served chilled. — 13 years ago

Australian winemakers seem to be competing for the Quirkiest name. First we had Sailor Seeks Horse and now Yes, Said the Seal. Both specialising in Pinot Noir. This wine had notes of Cherry red berries Forest floor and unobtrusive spicy oak. The savoury palate reflects the aromas. This was the Winner of the Australian Pinot Challenge recently. Chief Judges were seasoned Show Judge and Burgundy nut Phillip Rich and Jim Chatto chief winemaker at McWilliams. Young Pinot doesn't get much better than this. Tasted again 49 weeks later on 9th September 2018 with consistent notes. Yet made another note on Delectable. — 8 years ago
Another level... Still dense at the core, with steady, attractive bricking: Wonderfully dense nose of blackcurrents, pencil shavings, fine tanned leather, and a hint of woodland floor (fine moss, leaves, and fresh soil after an autumn shower). Velvety tannins and great acidity. Along with the '66 this is one of my all-time favourite Bordeaux vintages. Seems to be keeping up better than the '61s I've had over the last few years!
We drank half of it from the coravin before waxing the top in case the cork had lost too much elasticity to self-seal. I'll have the rest with my brother in a few weeks' time! — 9 years ago
Very enjoyable and easy to drink. Even better after vacuum seal and re opened. — 9 years ago

The wine is lifting with complexity, spicy notes, citrus focus and elegant subtle oak notes bringing light vanilla 👏😗
Wines produced from the land and Palace estate of Portugal’s last King.
The whole process of making the wine from the beginning to the finished product is just as it was from the first vintage. The grapes are from private vineyards planted close to the hotel, and complete the final touches to what lies on your table are hand-blown bottles with an old-fashioned wax seal.

The Meg
This got the Brosé seal of approval from the hubby. Will get this again. At first sweeter than expected but then most perfectly refreshing sweetness. Doesn't make sense because we drank the bottle. But it's good. Will get again. #rosealldayeveryday — 7 years ago
