It pains me that I can not share these German Pinots with my American friends😭😭😭😭😵😪😪😪. Really nice. Close to the 2008 I reviewed yesterday. Black currents and blackberries. Cherry and YERY powerfully elderberry characteristics another winner from this off the beating path winery. Really very aromatic and unique this would blows your socks off! 30 Euros. — 9 years ago

Not too dry. Sweet — 9 years ago
Deep scarlet violet glass with translucent scarlet rim. Medium nose of blackberry jam, clove, eucalyptus against a subtle background of dry tobacco and leather. Medium full bodied tart acid hit to the palate of dark fruits, pepper and cocoa. Finishes long with big soft chalky tannins. Well balanced wine with good structure. At $37.99 USD, a little dear but still good for the occasional splurge or accompaniment to your rich dish. — 9 years ago

Tastes like a party — 9 years ago
Scarlet violet glass with scarlet violet translucent rim. Pretty, light nose of cedar, earth, vanilla, blackberry, cherry, raspberry, and hints of tobacco. Light body brings mild acidic tartness of cherry, strawberry and raspberry. Finishes short to medium due to tiny tannins with an ending cedar/oak note. Good balance, structure and value at $19.99 USD. Easy recommendation for a good light sipper! — 9 years ago

Dark scarlet color showing a little age. Aromatic, animalistic nose with notes of black cherry, blueberries, a little menthol and some cold slate stone. Rich in the mouth with nicely integrated tannins. Ok finish. The funk in the nose is the memorable takeaway. — 8 years ago
