This is my favorite. So creamy and lovely with a silky texture. Subtly oak. Amazing. Especially tasting e Bob Lindquist at Rhone Rangers panel. — 9 years ago

Elegant wine with rich aromas of black cherry, violet and a hint of black peppercorn. Very Jammy and velvety structure with juicy flavors of blackberry, black currant and spice on the finish. — 5 years ago
Just a delight with our apple cobbler last night! Beautiful notes of apricot and peach and just the right amount of sweetness 😋 — 7 years ago

Classic Northern Rhone style. Bright black fruit, violet, a hint of smoked meat and black pepper/olive. Mid weight, fresh acidity and well structured. Definitely a cut above standard Cali Syrah. Classic wine from a classic producer — 9 years ago
Classic Napa blend. Has a little Miner Oracle thing going on. Really nice. No clue on cost. — 10 years ago
8 barrel production of whole cluster Syrah grafted in ‘86 long before it was cool to plant cool climate Syrah. A true tour de force wine from the original Rhône ranger in central coast, bob lindquist. The wine is still singing and I’m sad it’s my last bottle because there is probably another 10 years of ageing. Black as night. Great acidity and black cherry fruit. Thank you Poppy. — 5 years ago

An experience wine to know, love and appreciate the history and genius of Bob Lindquist in birthing Santa Barbara/Central Coast as one of the great wine regions of the world. Here is proof. At 22 years young, a revelation in ageable Rousanne From Alban vineyard. Reduced with some matchstick, the fruit is mostly cider apples, but the long oak toast and yeasty, buttery golden color and honeyed deliciousness make this a wine to remember. Most will dismiss it as lightly oxidized, nutty or flat. But, there is charm and intrigue and the right pairing will entrance those who love wines from Jurancon and appreciate aged whites.
Glad I have more to share in the years to come. — 5 years ago
