World Of Wines 11/18/16. Berry forward with a licorice finish. If I have to bring a bottle of pinot noir sonewhere, this could be it. — 10 years ago
Nose explosively exhibits greens as only New Zealand can express; limes, gooseberries, green tea, green melons, wild herbs, and green peas, to name a few. Palate is untamed, raw, and savage. Not bogged down by any oak, this wild and dry Marlborough screams of place. #kiwi — 10 years ago
Young and bold, this savage warrior attacked my palette and moved in to my mouth, like a mother in law, she means well but we will need to spend some time together to work things out, this wine could easily use 10 years to contemlate its next move... — 11 years ago

One of the winemakers really changing the conversation in Washington. Shows the red fruited side of Cabernet very well. Get to know #savagegrace. — 11 years ago
Under the radar grape! Norton...savage, well, don't know exactly what that means. ;) Try it and you may find out. Enjoy this at Chandler Hill winery in Defiance. — 13 years ago

Just an outstanding pour from a small production Washington winery. Gorgeous nose of red berries, floral notes, and less herb than I expected. This is a young, delicate wine that is quite Loire-ish in structure. Strawberries, cherries, plums, and herbs. Wonderful, wonderful acidity with plenty of greenness. I hope you don't love your Franc overoaked because this ain't it. Fresh is the word of the day here. This reminds me how much I love Cab Franc. — 10 years ago
