This is beyond legit. I have not been a huge hill fan In the past but this is great. I wish it said sour though. Thanks @corkyphilly — 12 years ago
Second time for me tasting this wine and I'm still impressed by the complexity. So many layers of different aromas. Very impressive. On the palate its a totally differential approach than all the GGs I tasted before. Much rounder, softer with pure elegance and a super, super subtle power. This Sankt Nikolaus plays in a totally different league. Kühn told us that he wants to do a different wine out of the grape variety than the other producers. Like the Tements do in Austria with their Sauvignon Blancs he said. — 9 years ago
Oh yes I did. If the somms of Texas are going to grab pretty much every bottle not earmarked for NYC and CA, then I'm drinking this one! Grown on limestone, yes, this is a very different idea of what Gruner can do. Embrace it. There are grapes, and there is the soil/dirt/rocks/minerals they are planted in. — 9 years ago
Smoothest Chardonnay I have ever had. No overwhelming "woody" flavor. — 9 years ago
Dry but fruity - raspberry and blackberry. Smooth, dry finish. Easy drinking and good for spring. I like it. #beaujolais #gamay #burgundy #france #dogsofdelectable — 10 years ago
