Great 2010 St. Helena Cabernet. Immediately leather, vanilla and oak permeate the nose. Mostly reds with a hint of rust in color. This wine is very well balanced between fruit, spice and oak. Flavors of blueberry, plum, up front with hints of cinnamon, cloves and black pepper and graphite at the finish. The Medium tannins blended with the high viscosity make this an easy wine to drink. — 11 years ago

Love the 83 vintage of LB, going through my 3rd case of this. Dried red berries, saddle leather, cedar, tobacco, slightly sweet on the finish still showing some nice acid and developing that rust & iron element that you find in a good mature Burgundy. — 12 years ago
