JL tasting Portugal Beira interior 2/20/18. 100% Siria. Sparkling. Golden slight amber color. Interesting nose that's slate stones minerals and acidic, white flowers. Palate that'd make one think Chablis with liveliness and sharpness, long finish that's acidic. Just a bit unbalanced on the acidic side but wear a goos food wine. Remind me of that Georgian sparking. Good value at $16. — 8 years ago

I think we had the 2011 or 2010 - in Porto. It was delicious. Really full, heavy tannins but still balanced - absolutely delicious — 5 years ago

02/14/2019 - Gift from Kendall/Rui (Portugal). Very enjoyable fruity taste and smell. Didn’t have much finish. However really enjoyed with our steak. — 7 years ago
WOW! Another surprising Douro red full of wood, full bodied, dark ruby color but so light on the palate with a great dry finish. Definitely one of my favorite wines. — 10 years ago

Dark black fruit on the nose, lots of sour cherry, pure, with a pinch of baking spice, quite fresh & enticing.
There’s quite some power on the palate, with robust tannic frame (a bit dry, 12m French oak) and fresh acidity, nicely filled with the cherry fruit. Good purity, good length. A bit of a chewy wine but drinking nicely. Better with food. — 10 months ago
