Brunello tasting all day and had one that scored 100% so inevitably hard to compete but a grows-on-you very delicious Brunello and fun to drink where it’s from — 2 years ago

Very good big Napa cab, cabs always on the edge of fruity side for me but fantastically balanced and very smooth. Delicious way to land in New York with my brother! — 2 months ago
I think we could have left it to open up a bit more but a really unique deep wine with intense aromas, a real aged flavour.. powerful — 2 years ago
Very “French” dry white - rounder in the mouth but not as much as expected. Quite classic. Interesting to try Corsican grape and wine — 2 years ago
Couldn’t find on delectable - drank chilled, lighter red (12.5%) but still full of flavour and balanced. Easy drinking but high quality — 2 years ago
Delicious classic Bordeaux with all the deep cherry and black fruit notes, balanced acidity and tannin once allowed to breathe. A treat with my brother! — a year ago
Surprisingly not fruit forward, a lot of leather / bitter notes. Enjoyed but not a favourite. Definitely a food wine and I can see why it’s often blended instead of drunk 100% as tinto cao — a year ago
Definitely got better the more it opened up. Smoother/more balanced than anticipated (more medium body) so still a very drinkable wine. I get the 9.4 pro ratings etc just maybe prefer punchier things but delicious and very much enjoyed! — 2 years ago

Surprised me - really drinkable and nice (had the 2020 vintage). 80% Zinfandel (which you can taste), 10% Syrah, 5% cab and 5% petite sirah adds some great smooth tannins, buttery, reminiscent of some of the better SA wines we’ve had. Really recommend for the price — 23 days ago
