Big rich red! At first sip, perfect — 6 months ago
Tasty but pricey ($35, on sale for $30). Nose is dark fruit, black cherry, Raisin. Lots of cocoa, tobacco, and leather. Full bodied, very tannic, dry with slight balancing acidity to keep it drinkable. Great with food and pleasant on its own if you like beefy oaky wine. — 10 months ago

Needs to open, but a complex example of Tempranillo. Fruit comes through, but filtered through oak and vanilla. — 9 years ago

Peaking right now, don’t wait: amber bricking on edge, black & red fruit - deep reservoir of ripe intense aromas & flavors, baking spices, worn leather, licorice, mineral - so expressive, massive on palate, beautifully balanced, tamed from so many years in bottle. Perfect accompaniment to my Saturday night T-Bone — 7 months ago

Big and vibrant and a lot better than last bottle which was stewey and alcoholic. Feels quite sophisticated even. — 4 months ago
