Some of the reviews of this wine leave me wondering if we are talking about the same wine? As a pinot lover, I signed up to the Rochioli list in the early 90s and branched out from there. I think I have tasted the breadth of Calif pinot, and have had a few of the grand cru burgundies as well; for my taste buds this is the most extraordinary pinot noir I have ever tasted. Liquid velvet in the mouth. I have had 5 of the 2007's so far and all were profound. — 11 years ago
