Perfect. This Chianti hits it out of the park. Perfect Sangiovese elegance followed by a nice bite from the Pugniatello. Perfectly balanced. — 9 years ago

Wonderful plums and dark fruits with a hint of leather on the palate and nose. Enjoyed it with an eggplant-sun dried tomato pasta and chicken sautéed in an Italian odori base. Fabuloso! — 10 years ago
Very good rosé - light in color full in flavor. — 11 years ago
Solid Barolo. Still very young, with some burly tannins, but plenty of cherry to balance it out. Dried rose, leather, earth. Yum. — 11 years ago

Very nice, rounded, balanced acidity, good packaging, label, good wine but very expensive $25.00 8/10 — 13 years ago
Ah, €8 at the local Coop. It's delectable. Bright fruit, summer cherries, a little spice, but not heavy on the tongue. Overall a gorgeous wine with simple pasta, pork, and just drinking while watching a great spy flick on a chilly winter's evening. — 8 years ago
@Bob McDonald have you tried this? — 9 years ago

High QPR on this one, $40 will get you an intoxicatingly complex display of flavors and aromas. Violets, dark flowers, plum, stewed cherries, creme de cassis, cigar box, leather, and anise. Serious depth, heavy bodied, slightly chewy tannins, long meaty finish. — 11 years ago

This went better with the grouper. — 11 years ago

Lot of value in this pleasing Langhe. Tart and dried red fruits. For the price can not be beat. — 8 years ago
More spice than the other nebbiolo — 9 years ago
This was lovely. Wildly aromatic nose; something of the animal(but not brett), wild herbs, very fresh black fruit. Firm, but not without pleasure. — 9 years ago
Very interesting. Super dark but very bright. Lots of juicy acidity and jammy. Not very tannic, medium to light bodied but with a lot of up-front savoriness. Strawberries, unripe blackberry, even some citrus peel, prune, some blue ballpoint pen, and funkiness. From Shawn's. — 10 years ago
Very nice, strong minerality — 10 years ago
Earthy. Tannic. Great finish. — 11 years ago

Very good Italian white from a relatively obscure appellation. Does Little Red Fox sell anything below par?? — 11 years ago
