Very smooth and elegant flavor, notes of chocolate and prune. Excellent to pair with manchego cheese and red meats — 7 years ago
There is a slight misalignment between the fruit and phenolic ripeness, also a mismatch between the oak and the terroir, but it is still an authentic, genuine Langhe Nebbiolo. Wide range of aromatic nuances and dynamic expression with authority. Less polished than Roagna and less subtle than Cascina delle Rose but those three are of similar mold. A relaxed style of winemaking that is complete opposite of producers like Albino Rocca, Bruno Rocca and Sottimano who have a perfectionist approach, — 7 years ago
A blend of 95% Sangiovese, 5% Cab Sauv & 5% Merlot, aged 2 years in French oak, deep Ruby with aromas of dark berry fruits with smoke, spice and floral notes. On the palate flavors of blackberry, spice and tobacco. Fine tannins, good balance, medium+ finish ending with oaky spice. — 5 years ago

Dark chocolate and black cherry. Mix it together and what do you get? Yeah I’m not sure why my Chianti tastes like Black Forest cake either, but I’m kinda digging it. — 5 years ago
